Press coverage in general is really lacking. Go on to the BBC rugby league page right now. 4 hours before kick off from the first game of round 2, there’s no preview of the games, no injury/team news - I mean tonight’s fixtures don’t even appear on the main page.
You wouldn’t know games were on tonight!
Edit - ok I take it back (partially). There is a preview on there from 2 days ago, need to scroll down - I missed it first time. Still should be front and centre though.
Intense opening quarter between Wakefield and Wigan.
How can you have downward pressure when your hand and arm are both under the ball?

2 missed swinging shots on Wakefield players.
Someone needs to tell the commentator that Wigan are not the league leaders.
Imagine being big Mose Masoe. Everyday you can’t crap without help from your Mrs but you have to wear a mask for a glorified cough. Bullshit covid.
screaming in the family corner, scaring the kiddies
The director on Sky frustrates me with some of the camera angles. Every time a team gets in the 20 they switch the angle making it really difficult to see what is going on, they always show the angle low behind the sticks for a conversion when the broad angle behind the kicker is far better, and the constant replays when stuff is happening is rather stupid. Just little things that would make the annoyance of having to watch games on tv a little better.
Brian Carney describing Grace's try as "footwork Mose could only dream of"
No mention of Saints win last night on bbc north west this morning.
But Wigan was and Wires game today was mentioned.
What gives?
Bill Arthur just said that tomorrows two games will ‘cap off this round 7 bonanza’. Whats he talking about?

"Shenton is a one club man, apart from the spell he had with St.Helens " is my personal favourite so far
Has John Wells just come off shift at Pilks? He's wearing coveralls.
65 minutes in, only just realised Danny Richardson is on the field, absolutely anonymous from what ive been watching.
Jesus wept, Bill Arthur is talking utter cat shit then we cut Jenna for her to tell us she doesn't know what Daryl Powell said to his players BUT she will ask him.
Apparently Hull are playing Thalford.
Is it just me or do you think SKY use their disability quota on RL. Bill Arthur commentates like he is partially sighted. Clarke acts borderline turrets, and McDermot and O Connor must be the only two still watching “On The Road” on BBC2
Barry sounds like he's had a liquid lunch, he can't string a sentence together.
We complain that sky treat us as a joke and yet we have a big proportion of RL fans that treat international RL as a joke.
