Does he get in above Mbye or Brooks? I like Hastings but for me, he doesn’t.

Well I hope so but I’ll believe it when I see it. There’s going to be non-stop rumours for Hastings and French given the length of contract and clear desire to play in the NRL again they both have.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

It would be funny if he left but I thought they had some kid who's supposed to be better than Shaun Edwards.

I'd forgotten about that. I was really looking forward to Edwards coming back as Wigan coach, it would have been great for the games profile and it would have made the derbies even more fun with a figure of hate from the bad old days as their coach. Beating Wigan under Wane always meant that little bit extra because you knew he hated losing to us, and it would have been the same under Edwards.

I never looked at it that way but you're right. Maybe they could try for posh Andy next.

I hear he's in the Guinness Book of Records for the fastest 'loss' of a Northern accent.

Robinson is worse. He was a feckless individual. Then the first chance he had he joined the priviliged white set. Then black lives matter and it's a switch of horse. Once again he came from a cultural cess pit.

Have we considered it’s being driven by Wigan? No source of income throughout the pandemic, and two marquees draining finances can’t be easy. We know they tried to push Burgess out the door, maybe Hastings back to Aus is option 2 in cost cutting ...

100% he does. Certainly above mbye who has played the last few seasons at centre. Filling in the odd time at fullback for doueihi

Hastings was desperate for a move back to the NRL before he signed for Wigan , I have a very very good friend who "works" for Wigan and conversions where had between Hastings and management, this was the person who texted me at the exact time "nobby" was being sacked as I posted at the time .

Did no NRL club come in for him at the time then Roy?

As my mate said Ralph he was waiting but no one came in . I really do apologise but if I go into detail and someone from "within the club" they will suss my source out without a shadow of a doubt.

I for one hope he comes back. Decent lad, although it is telling he changed in his cultural approach with his change of club. But he is good for Super League. Greg Inglis now that is embarrassing, its like bringing Jamie Lyon across to play again.

Not sure why you should be embarrassed by it?
Wire fans largely anticipating his season, there is an gamble element to it, but what do we have to lose?

Being serious here for a minute, what do you expect Inglis to bring to Wire this year?

How often do you think he will play?

Hope his experience is able to help Wire go on to wi a Grand Final?

First of all a confession....I’m an eternal optimist (waits for obvious comments). I expect him to be a model professional, he is a modern day great and hopefully his attitude will reflect that. I was genuinely excited when we announced his signing. If we get 75% of him at his best and he will still be a standout performer in SL. He clearly isn’t match fit and he says will take at least 6 games to attain that. On the bright side he hasn’t come here under a cloud, his best mate, Jason Clark, is at the club. I don’t think he alone will win us the GF, but he may be a component in us challenging. I actually think our 2 English props Mulhern and Butler may be just as important.
Looking forward to the season already.
