I liked Greenwood when he was with us. His career has turned to s*** since he left but theirs still a player in there. Same with Ashworth maybe. Hope Watson can do well with them.

I am also told that it means that Huddersfield have pulled out of signing Josh Jones, leaving him in limbo at Hull. Whilst I doubt we have the cap space would we be interested in bringing him back?

Limbo? Whats happened at Hull? Jones was killing it at Salford. Is he out of favour at Hull?
Edit: yes i would have Jones back in a heartbeat.

I believe he had a bad time with Covid and hasn't fully recovered.

Covid related is the party line but believe he’s not liking travelling to Hull every day and hasn’t integrated in the squad.
Hull want him off the books and were trying to do a deal with Huddersfield but Greenwood was available without any swap

Shame really, 12 months ago i wouldnt have minded him coming back, he had improved massively in 2019.

I hear he agreed to move to Hull when he signed, then reneged. He’s travelling and some people at the club feel he may have exaggerated his illness, and has never bonded with the “area” This has then become known to the cod head fans who’ve been all over social media slaughtering him and as such his position has become untenable.

Like Jake Connor? Didn’t he sign for Hull then try to get out of it to stay at Huddersfield? Can’t blame em. Hull is a sh**hole. City of culture my arse!

Absolutely mate, we certainly have, Joel Thompson from all accounts is an excellent player and a real leader, Bentley really stepped up and has become a quality player and Mata'utia clearly has something about him.

Greenwood must have been doing okay to pick up an NRL contract. I always liked him at back row, but I always found the 'left second row argument' a poor one, if his game was so one dimensional that he couldn't adapt, then he's probably not we good as we thought.. look at Welsby, working his way into the team wherever he can, or Simm predominantly a right centre, but taking his chances at left centre..
