Another player that left saints and didnt really do much. We got a great deal with Zeb. Josh Jones is decent but we've got better IMO. There's alot of Wigan fans getting giddy about George Bugess leaving and Luke Thompson coming in. With our pack I cant see us squeezing him in so if he does come back in the next few years, it won't be to us. Warrington on the verge of Mulhern too.

    Thompson isn’t coming back.

Mulhern has already been announced by Warrington

And I believe Burgess has turned Wigan’s offer of an insurance payoff and intends to honour his contract (snigger)

Mulhern will offer them more going forward. That's what's always let wire and wigan down in recent years. Their forwards have been garbage. 2021 will be interesting

Thing is though, no BMM, Hill is past it, Cooper is 32 although still a good player, Philbin can be hit and miss, the others I don't know a great deal about, there's that big lad from Wigan but he looked crap to me. Plus their back row is nothing to write home about.

He wasn't even getting game time when on loan in the lower divisions.

Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

Two ACL's and a bad hamstring injury. All really hampered him and he's lost quite a bit of pace and confidence. He was very highly thought of at Wigan by the coaching staff, a change of club would probably do him good, especially with no reserves league next year given that he'll be behind Hastings, Leuluai, Field and Smith.

Morning Rogues. Fascinating insight into the Wigan coaching set up. What a strong squad you have. God we've been lucky to beat you in the last two Grand Finals. Although I do see the league leaders shield and indeed Challenge Cup have gained more significance this year than for many years before.

Funny that, the LLS was a mere "hubcap" when we kept winning it. Would still have been if SKY/SL hadn't decided to stop the competition when the Pies got to the top of the league!

Far from it Dave. For Rogues to publicly state the best team won on the night of the Grand Final I need to be proportioned in response.

If there's one thing that as inevitable as the next year belonging to Warrington, its that Wigan have a 1-13 of 15 year/18 year olds on their books who are all future hall of famers ;-) Surprised we have'nt heard anything that they have a 9 to who will be better than Cunningham and Roby the two best ever British hookers.
