Anyone think he could do a job at Saints. I know he is 35, but I think we missed out when his contract was up at Catalan 2 years ago.

No, he'd be a good fit for bottom end of SL. maybe whichever Championship side gets 12th spot
Not now, if he was a few years younger then he would have been a good option, but i’d rather try and find a young prop from a championship club.
I reckon we’d be better off buying Singleton......
Can't stop the spirits when they need you.
This life is more than just a read through.
Dont think he is a particular step up from Amor or LMS, and would rather see Batchelor used more if there are injuries, so dont think he would see much play.
He'd be a good signing for the new SL club whoever that may be for his experience etc. Not for a club with hopes of challenging for top honours though.
Like people have said a few seasons ago he would have been good in the Red V.Not now though.
Toronto will snap him up for a £5,000,000 a year contract.
Toulouse bound maybe?
screaming in the family corner, scaring the kiddies
One of the best props in SL 5 years ago. Hardworking without being dirty. His style would have suited us, but not now.
One of the most underrated props in recent times in Super League, for me. Around the time he come back from the year he had at the Roosters, I’d have snapped your hand off for him but he’s 36 when the season starts and on a decline.

Sam Moa might be an option for a season as a bit of cover for Walmsley.
We do rely on Big Al a lot, I'd like to see us rotate the forwards more. I know we've got Lees and maybe some other youngsters but they haven't got the physique yet
I would imagine they'll be the starting front rowers for whichever club gets the 12th spot in Super League.
I can see Casty leading Toulouse around Super League if they got in and Moa having a load of dollar chucked at him by Leigh regardless of what league they’re in.

We've just won two SLs on the bounce. We're the last team that should be looking at a 35 year old to plug a gap. Our focus should be on where we can make improvements with one eye firmly on players with a future ahead of them. Jammer was completely different because he was always going to bring something extra. His influence was massive and it was never going to be anything else. Casty wouldn't bring that and would just be to plug a (non-existent) gap.
