    Default The Final Score

    Wow!
I am sure I will never see another match like that.
I still chuckle, when I think of LMS dancing about, or Lam bashing his head on the desk.

I am hoping that someone, with more knowledge than me, can tell me why we didn't take the conversion kick, and beat them 10 - 4?

Also, Tommy Mak's kick actually bounced over the bar. So why wasn't the score 5 - 4?

    Can someone please enlighten me.
    Thanks

1: conversion is optional and so I assume it was declined.
2: drop goal must pass through in one motion, it is invalid if it bounces.

My second point is badly worded. Basically, a goal attempt ceases when the ball hits the ground.

With the conversion, I was at a sudden death game where team A were leading by 8 with something like 2 minutes remaining. Team B scored a try to be within 4 points but immediately declined the conversion to save time and go again. For the life of me, I can’t remember who, what or where.

I watched an NRL game in the last couple of months where they declined the kick, like you said, but can't remember the teams involved.

Yes it was Nathan cleary turned it down as they were 6 behind but the conversion would have taken them beyond full time.
