To coin a phrase we made famous for wire - just like the last one, it's always our year

To coin another phrase: It takes a good team to win a grand final but it takes a great team to win a back to back grand final.

It does look as though we could possibly be a stronger team next season, without tempting fate can we challenge to be back to back, back to back champions.

Let’s be honest, we should be going for 4 in a row. We blew it in 2018.

I just kept looking at Welsby's foot in the try. I kept thinking it was his until we went to an opposite camera angle. ITS NOT HIS FOOT, ITS NOT HIS FOOT

The only other incident was when Welsby came into contact with French with his arm and I thought Kendall might have got Thaler to look at it but the ref only questioned the offside and the foot grounding.

I also thought that if Kendall called it up as a try for the Tai one Thaler might have gone with the field ref decision because the offside was very borderline.

If he was that invested in the game, why had he bothered to set his phone up recording himself? Attention seeking helmet.

What I like about you Dave is you don't buy the crap. We know what Vegas is, he is the mirror image of a politician. Always looking for a photo shoot. Saints most famous fan, my arse.

The twizzler on the Sky box gives away that he’s rewound that and restaged it. He’s turned his back on the tv celebrating the try as soon as it happened when nobody knew if it was given. On a par with the restaging of the Soviets taking the Reichstag that!

He's actually a really nice bloke when he's not playing up to being Johnny, I've been in his and his brothers company a few times but things like that are pathetic to be honest.

It looks to me like this an hour after the game and he's rewound Sky and then put on an act as if it's live. His reaction isn't real. You wouldn't be spending the next thirty seconds looking at the picture on the phone rather than the TV when there's a video ref call to look at.

EDIT. Just read Gray's post. It wasn't just me then. :-)

To be honest Mike Coleman just seems to shovel money into Saints and I've never even seen a photo of him. He is some fan. It's just a great day to be a Saint.

I think he is on the Wide to West footage when the cameras go to Ian Millward.

My wife had it and asked me if I wanted to see it. Couldn't be bothered.

He flew over for the Gf last year, and was in the dressing room with the players after the game.
