TBH I'm glad they've found their voices again after beating us once in 2 years. We'll put them back in their box on Friday and store them away till early next year.

When they were buying all their trophies in the late 80s and early 90s, I couldn't believe how rabid with hate their fans were toward us. They didn't just want to beat us to trophies, they wanted to pulverise and humiliate us. I was a lad and couldn't understand why, when they were already winning so much, they begrudged anyone else winning anything, especially if it was us.

I think perhaps they knew they were 'gaming the system' and buying success, and when you do that victory is never as sweet as when you've achieved it organically and through hard work.
I f*cking hate wi*an. And rugby yawnion. And Tories. And Brexit f*ckwits.

They're clearly worried about Friday. Don't know why as we are 'forever in their shadow.' The almighty Wigan. Don't you dare question us.
I agree, trawling through threads on here and then arguing that we are obsessed with them is laughable. They even had a laugh at AD because he had the temerity to say he wasn’t exactly firing with emotion about a semi final in a diluted season. I don’t care if they have a laugh at us, I enjoy having a laugh at them, because if we don’t enjoy the rivalry why are we bothering in the first place. We may as well just declare Hull KR our deadly rivals and be shot of them if they think us having a pop at them is out of order.

My earlier comment was unrelated to all of that really, it’s more about the tone of some stuff that’s crept onto the forum this season which I reckon we all need to reign in a bit. But it’s for another time.

I remember all too clearly and I cherish every time we humiliate them in return. The problem is most of the feral •••• wits still think it's 1989 and they're still owed at least a trophy a season then they get on their high horse and try to act all condescending. I do find it quite sweet though how much time they spend looking at this place. I think I can count on one hand the amount of times I've seen their board over this season (it's 5 or less in case any of you rodents are unsure how many fingers you should have).

I heard the match was shifted to the Dw as its the only available neutral venue. Even heard theyve cancelled a wedding to accommodate it and laid some new carpet for the occasion.

I get what you're saying regarding the some of the stuff posted. Personally I've taken it on board but lets not forget, this works both ways, they're our biggest rivals and vice versa. I've said before, aside from the fact I wouldn't go on their board, I'd expect to get hammered if I did, especially if I posted the nonsense RG does on here and tried to turn every thread into a ••••ing contest. It's a reflection of human nature that some people will have more extreme opinions than others, some people may hold those opinions but keep them to themselves, some will voice those opinions. It's just how it is. As I said, some of what was aimed at RG was out of order but he made his own bed, and has done so for some time.

As it goes, I was probably a bit non-plussed because I'd had a really busy week, I obviously couldn't go to the game and was feeling a bit disillusioned with our tactics. It's probably a good point to think that we've been top of the league for most of the season and quite a few on here feel the same way. I know their fans have complained over the season too. On the other side of that, I really enjoyed our performance, enjoyed the final SOO game and we're getting a bit of positive news regarding Covid so hopefully that passes on to next season and we can all get back to the grounds calling each other every •••• under the sun from the terraces.

That's the exact point I have made too. For a set of fans who like to roll out the "hated, adored, never ignored" rubbish they don't half talk about us a lot. Then have the audacity to call us obsessed. I can't fathom that one.

Has anybody told them on that the OP of this thread is just a lighthearted joke, they appear to have taken it seriously.

You missed out the most important "Protocol", which is Wigan's resident referee (seven games on the bounce now) Chris Kendall must officiate in the final!

Just as I can't understand why fans of other clubs come in here, in really at a loss why Saints fans go in theirs........
"The great fallacy is that the game is first and last about winning. It is nothing of the kind. The game is about glory, it is about doing things in style and with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom." Danny Blanchflower.
Might have been written by a footballer about football - but never a truer word............

But they have got the Wigan Casino Owl in the weave of their away kit Ralph! What next Man Utd having the Hacienda logo woven in to their away strip, or maybe Chester City could have Tiffany's? Awful club, awful ethos, awful trolls that come on here, pretending to put a balanced view but hiding away on other sites calling Saints "Perennial Cheats". T*ssers.

I recon you might be able to get one post away before they cut you down!
Still can’t understand why the pie stalker continues to post here when he is so unwelcome. Regardless of any apparently harmless posts, he is here for nefarious reasons and is only really interested in causing disputes and arguments. The very same reason any of us would be banned if we tried the same on their forum - and rightly so!

I wouldn't bother my arse, I have no wish to converse with them. As you say, RG comes on here to wind folk up, I'm not overly bothered about that but then to cry about it is pathetic.

I was just putting the cat among the pigeons so to speak
