Me neither. I'd be really happy if it did but I think this is a case of someone hearing that were in for him 12 months ago and getting their wires crossed.

I think apart from LMS, all the comings and goings are pretty much known now.

    IN: Thompson, Paasi, Matautia, Norman?
OUT: Taia, Graham, Peyroux, Paulo, Ashworth, Costello, LMS?

I’m certain Tanginoa will be at Saints next year, too. There’s no way Chester wouldn’t pick him for the game at LP next year.

Is he out of contract? If so then I'm sure he'd want to come to St Helens before Wakey?

He's got another 12 months on his contract.

I read somewhere earlier that he signed in 2019 for 2 and half years? Does not make sense you would sign for half a year?

Anyway if he's contracted for whatever left we ain't going to pay for him. I'd hate for him to come in and push Knowles or Bentley back? Although we need strength in depth. He's a good player.

When we played Wakey it was mentioned in the commentary that we had tried to sign him but we were too late.

I know its unusual these days but cash plus a player or two and Wakey could be persuaded

He signed mid 2019 on a 2 and half year deal, so it runs to the end of 2021.

So Wakefield have in the past been open to what appear to be one sided swap deals (didn’t they swap Paul McShane for Scott Moore?) so it’s not impossible, and the player dissatisfaction at Wakefield is well documented so I don’t think it’s completely beyond the realms of possibility, but I would be surprised to say the least.

I think he's one we're definitely interested in. Make it happen, Wakefield are clearly on the verge of disappearing and it could help them.

If Wakefield end up s**t street would Reece Lynne be worth a look to replace Naiqama? Ive never been overly impressed by Lynne but he’s looked awesome from what bits ive seen this year.

It would be a good start to be able to go for a sh@t at Wakey.

Decent player Lynne but I’d prefer to see how Simm goes first. I also like the look of Jake Wardle at Huddersfield too though whilst we are at it.

Every time I watch him he impresses me.He looks like a future international. There must be something at Huddersfield because they tend to keep hold of their better players.

Just seen he won October's try of the month, great effort for his first senior try.

Always catches my eye when I see him play for Wakefield and nearly signed for us last year. Don’t know why but he looks like a Saints player to me.

Wardle is the player in the league to sign at the moment. He does look like the England centre for the next 10 years. If there was a player worth paying a fee for it is him.

    Saint Mac, Jake Connor?
I could agree with you but then we would both be wrong.

Tanginoa is more of a prop though, so would this not be instead of potentially signing Paasi rather than Mata’utia?
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

Hey lets not run before we can walk... A good, long pee without risk of 'contamination' would be a suitable starter....
A move into the 1900's with wash basin would be good too.

Hes not a prop hes a running second rower. He only played prop once or twice this year due to injury. He was bang average at prop but rutheless at second row attaching the edges
