So our reward is a couple of weeks off. Can see both sides to that.

Salford could get the 7th place if they win by 50pts and Huddersfield lose by 40 pts, that's a mathematic possibility so I think Huddersfield will treat this as a proper game to make sure.

That game against the scum was especially brutal. I think some players need a bit of R&R. Graham and Taia especially looked jaded so hopefully this will give them a chance to get some effectiveness back. Knocks to others should heal up.

It'll also give Woolf some extra time to work with the team on those drop-off balls and focus more on the middles.

Aren't they both on 14 points?

Hudds lose and Salford win, and Salford nab 7th without needing a reversal of the points difference. We need to cheer on Salford, then cheer on Huddersfield

They’ve lost my sympathy having given Wire 2 points and then less than a week later battering Catalan.

No games for 2 weeks then a home semi vs Warrington???

See you next year folks. Hope you all have a nice Christmas .

Seriously though, as Webbo posted above some of our lads could do with a rest. Plus, all we need to do is come back with the same mentality that we did when the season resumed when we had those impressive victories.
The best thing that could happen to us is that we get written off by everyone. I still think we have probably the best 1-17 in the league. We just need to address whats been going wrong over the next few weeks.

Salford to be docked six points. Which, in theory, doesn't affect their win percentage.

People have complained about Leeds, but a top five system would also have seen them in it, or if Catalans had actually turned up and played games, Leeds may well have made the four.

Hull are the ones that are today's surprise winners. Two decent performances all season and now they are in the play-offs. Not only that, another couple and they're in the Final on their home ground.

Good luck with that, I'd suggest he's out of his depth with anything other than managing 6 forwards a struggle.

Do you think Woolfe is responsible for the pandemic?
Has he murdered any of your family?
Your personal vendetta against him is relentless.

When the league chose the KCOM for the GF they basically suggested it was a suitable neutral ground believing Hull wouldn’t make it. That was probably plenty motivation for Hull to start pulling their finger out.

That will hurt them about as much as being 'awarded' a 24-0 defeat because they couldn't be arsed playing three times in a week. What's the point? That's twice in a week that a club that should have been punished has effectively received no punishment at all.

The sarcasm would be funny if it wasn't so depressingly true.

Just seen confirmation of Salford’s punishment and the six points “deducation” has been applied by removing three wins, thereby effectively ending their season.

Also ends any point of Huddersfield giving Wigan a game
