Our pack looks half decent - some experience out there. Al, Jammer, Dom

Not that I’ve seen but may have missed it. Not much point naming a squad at all really then if they have.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

Win, lose or draw I'm actually really excited for this one because of the lineup. Looking forward to seeing how they go. Still plenty of experience in the team.

Nice try that. Step from Jammer, pace from Peyroux and Eaves backing up the play well. Good start.

Im loving the pace, offloads and high risk plays! Very entertaining. Baby saints looking good. They couldn’t grow a beard between them but they look good!

Dodd looks a natural half back. He looks like he has so much time.

    When did we sign Sarginson?

He does. His first last tackle of the game he had Salford players breathing down his neck and he had the nerve to look up and weigh up where to best put the kick.

Ok it's a proper game now, Rizzelli has something about him, confident catches & goes from Nisbet, Eaves going to his right 90% of the time, limited kicking game to be honest. Expecting more from Welsby but overall no complaints.

Get a few more experienced lads back on in the second and we'll beat these, they look ••••ed.

We should have been 18 points up at half time really and would have been 10 had it not been for Peyroux’s error. Still - better than I thought.

I struggle to see the hype around Welsby. I have seen nothing in any game where I go WOW. I did with Simm last week. Ashworth needs to go. All in all really good that.

Batchelor has impressed me. Peyroux did well but he’s always got a Clanger in him trying to milk a penalty. Sarginson how did he get to play for england, id keep giving high ones to him because he’s bound to fumble it.

Really got stuck in that first half especially in defence, the debutantes are doing really well not giving Salford much time on the ball. The half back pairing is very raw, Welsby seems to be caught in 2 minds at times. Peyroux and Paulo doing OK. Once we get Graham and Walmsley back on we will have more go forward.

If Salford keep making errors then we will be in with a shout, I think we need Dodd and Welsby to click but there is a lot of pressure on Dodd.

Hope they keep up the intensity and speed.

Salford are grasping at shadows, only able to get up the pitch from our mistakes and the only tactic is to give it the big lad and let him trundle over.

Happy with the first half, thought the Peyroux error could of been called as interference. Hope KW can give them some insight and confidence at half time and we can pull away.

Looks like the set plays have gone out the window. Young throwing it and running everywhere. Dom, Jammer and Big Al really stepping up, but I think Batchelor has been putting in a fair shift in the forwards. Dodd may retain his place.

Criminal from Peyroux at the end there but was good up until that.

Nisbet was my pick of the young lads, looks really comfortable and confident.

It's still early days for him, but he has seemed lost a couple of times, and has probably made more errors that the less experienced.

The question by Jon Wells was telling, where does he fit in? Why does he keep going to dummy half? Sometimes early bloomers get caught up and I think this might be happening here, I want him to dominate the play with his exposure but nothing as yet. Worryingly I think Salford may be good for the last 20 mins, let's see.

Costello playing well tbf, not missed anything much as yet considering his wingers are debutants.

Looking a bit ragged in defence at times. Need to sort that out.
