    Default Hicks again

Is it just me or does Hicks seem to be always involved when Wire play?

He was the video ref in the Leeds v Warrington game last night.
He was the video ref in the Wire cup game, where you could hear the panic in his voice when he realised he was live on TV couldn't overturn the winning score as the on field decision was try.

How many times since last years CC Final has he been the ref or video ref for a Wire game?

or put another way, how many games have Wire played since last years CC Final without him as ref or video ref?
How does that compare with other teams?

Surely someone has a spreadsheet with that info

And the good news is he’s the ref for our game on Thursday. I’m sure that’s the first time we’ve had him since Wembley. (LMS Testimonial apart) what’s the odds our first try especially if it’s Knowles that scores he goes to the screen. Suppose he’s the only person glad there’s no spectators.

Don't think James Child reffed a Warrington game either since the Battle of Perpignan.

At least you have the decency to admit he has a squad number.
