What did the sad old git say about Millward? Must have missed it!
Could someone let me know please, by PM if appropriate?
And could someone on admin perhaps let us all know why this serial gobshite isn't banned please?
"The great fallacy is that the game is first and last about winning. It is nothing of the kind. The game is about glory, it is about doing things in style and with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom." Danny Blanchflower.
Might have been written by a footballer about football - but never a truer word............
A really nasty comment , blaming millward for helping towards Newton’s suicide for how he treated him. Should have been banned.
To be fair - he did quickly apologise and explain what he meant.
No St George, he was quickly found out and just like a poor Politician he tried to back track. He stated whilst the suicide of Newton was brought up "well you can blame Ian Millward for that" A man who suffered the heartbreak of losing his own son.
I wonder if anyone can guess who this pearl of wisdom come from
Would anyone be tempted to play Leuluai at #13. We were talking about it yesterday at the aftermatch discussion (wake) and it came up as a suggestion.
I hope Rogues has done his spreadsheets right, Leeds carried on in the Wartime Emergency League (Second World War) whist other clubs struggled to exist. The League Championship I believe didn't count but Leeds won the Challenge Cup twice and the Yorkshire Cup which counted. There were no win percentage in them days.
Thanks for the info regarding our resident bore. Even more reason why it's beyond understanding that he is allowed to contaminate this forum.
Appalling

He played okay on his first game back, Lam was talking that he may go round again after that game, but I agree Ralph he is a shadow of his former self and Jammer is not far behind him sadly.
Mind you like Jammer against Leeds, he will turn back the clock for a once off game against us, needled up with every kind of painkiller if it means us not getting to the GF and if they get there at our expense, he will play poorly in the final only just managing to walk out for the introductions.
