Thanks a lot for the upload, one of my all time favourite matches. Think you got the editing spot on, including opposition tries but cutting out the replays is ideal IMO.

Thanks mate. The 80-0 will be up soon too.

By the way I’ve put a special package together for Warrington fans for that game!

That's great. I went to the game where we put the Warrington hoo doo to bed. We played classy rugby and Warrington's spoilers got everything they deserved!

Ta. And here's another for you. Saints versus Leeds at Headingly in the first Super League. A fun season as it had been so long since we'd won a major trophy:

If anyone has any old VHS tapes let me know and I can convert them to DVD or USB for you.

    Halifax vs Saints, 1996.
Forgot what the 1996 season was like. At that point we'd won nothing big for ages - winning the League this season was full of entertainment, big performances and some very close shaves like this one. Newlove caused chaos in this game.

We got into many situations where previous Saints teams would have folded that season. I still recall the stomach churning game away to Castleford listening at home on the radio when Castleford broke through and had an open line. Goodness knows how but Steve Prescott and Joe Hayes got back and saved the day. I saw the Castleford game on your site a few weeks ago and I still don't know how they made the tackle!

I remember that tackle like yesterday, thought it was game over!
    Anyway here’s something more recent.

    Which was more impressive?
Our latest win against Wakefield or this one in 2005?

Solomona gave away a penalty for a push on Roby after a try was scored.

If they'd kept that up over the past decade then Wigan would have been giving away 8 point tries every time they were scored against

I suppose in the modern day game with the defender having duty of care etc. that may just about have been a penalty.
