Short turnaround for the Wigoons, play us on Tuesday then Leeds (Semi Final) Sunday. Think they also play Friday before our Tuesdays game.
One way of looking at it. !!!!!!
Wed -> Tue
8pm -> 8:15pm
If too many delays, the final whistle might go past 10pm(chucking out time)

As will every 8.15pm PL game on the schedule. Sky love the new later kick off times, which are now unopposed because there are no fans trying to get home afterwards, but they are now going to cause loads of issues at pubs. Any sensible government will tell them to move the kick offs back to 7.45 because nobody is going to go to a pub to watch a game knowing they’ll be kicked out with ten minutes left. I think the Bull and Dog in Sutton (for example) have already said that chucking out time will be 9.45pm, and I suspect pubs will kick out before 10 to avoid any issues with police. So Sky and the sports organisations are inadvertently harming the pub trade unless they move kick offs back half an hour.
Isn't 10 p.m the last serving time, not chucking out time?
Premises have to be closed and completely vacated by 10.00pm no drinking up time etc. That is the instruction of St Helens Licensing Authority I agree that kick off times should be brought forward, the 8.15pm kick off for Saints v Wigan will make it impossible to watch the end of the game in a pub,if there are video decisions head injuries etc I'll be watching it at home anyway
Even 8pm is too late for football, as games will finish around 9:55pm after some pubs have already started kicking people out. I feel sorry for landlords or bar staff telling gangs of people to vacate the premises with ten minutes to go in a big game, and some may end up in bother if they cede to their regulars and try to chuck everyone out at two minutes to ten, which with all the best will in the world will mean people are still in there past ten, with all the risks associated to landlords if plod happens to be driving past. RL at 8 means games will likely be done for 9:45, but what if the game goes to golden point, what if there's an injury, etc? The new rules are messing pubs around enough without them also losing the valuable custom they get on match nights. 7.45 is the only way to go IMO.
I'm on nights ffs.
Thank god for SkyGo.
Just looked on my Sky Box for next week's matches and it shows this:-
Tuesday Wigan v Saints 5.55pm. Salford v Warrington 8:15pm
Don't know if/when this was changed or if it is a mistake.
Hope we are the first match, for the punters in the pubs.
P.S. Still the other way round on https://www.skysports.com/rugby-league/fixtures
