I think 1-13 picks itself really going off what Woolf has said about Percival and Welsby (fitness and form respectively).

The real headache is on the bench where LMS, Lees, Peyroux, Amor and Smith are in serious contention. Dodd, Simm and Ashworth will presumably not really be in the running.

    I'd guess at:

    Coote
    Welsby
    Naiqama
    Percival
    Grace
    Lomax
    Fages
    Walmsley
    Roby
    Graham
    Bentley
    Taia
    Knowles

    Smith
    LMS
    Lees
    Amor

    Peyroux the unlucky one.

Weird one with him, he never seems to get mentioned at all. Either some unknown fitness problem or just completely out of favour. Wouldn't surprise me to see us try and offload him at the end of the year. He's a waste of (presumably) a decent salary.

yes, it will be 2 years into a 3 year deal by the end of the season .Makes sense for both parties for him to leave

Tough choice but I can see Lees missing out, he's been the weakest of the four props this season.

Woolf has already confirmed LMS will play, Amor has been in great form, Smith covers the bench hooker spot and Peyroux covers back row and can play Centre.

Agreed. Lees has been poor since his comeback from injury. I’d be tempted to take him out of the firing line for a few games, let him get back to 100% physically and psychologically.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

I don't think he came for bus fare.

He did however come for a masters degree at Salford which doesn't count on the cap

I see him at Toronto ( who will need a few bodies in short order) depending on his studies.

Same here, I think we need to be as physical as possible and Lees as hard as he runs has no impact at the moment.

Yes I think Batchelors exit has removed any doubt over the back line options.

I'm not a fan of Welsby on the wing but he's gaining in confidence and experience. He's still a SO everyday of the week.

Not sure of SO yet but we've limited options, hope the lad gets the rub of the green and has a solid game though.

I'd love to see Dodd on the bench, Lee's should be in for me, it's going to get messy, and I'd like to see Dom in there, he's done well last out.
It's muck or nettles this one, and they will try to bully us off the park.

I did not think my Eyesight was that bad but if you think Amor was in Great Form I need to go back to Specsave.

Yes you better had, he works hard makes yards if he is not a clone of Jammer Big Al or Thomo tough he never lets the team down.
On the Back foot looking for the front one.

Amor's metre stats since post lockdown:

    110
    116
    167
    130
    129
    99

He is very much a player in very good form and deserves to play today.

I agree he's showing his best form in quite while maybe the long rest was good for him.

You can't argue with those number, off the bench too.

The beauty of having 1 year left to run on a contract or a one year deal. Gets the best out of the player every game. Agree he deserves to be in but Matty Lee’s bring more of an edge to our forwards and in the big games that makes a difference.

That was a classic he's a NRL player so he must be great, he's not even as good as a 37 year old Jon Wilkin.

Generally I'd agree but Amor is a fair way ahead of Lees at the moment. It's down to Lees to up his game now and I fully expect him to do that.

I think Matty Lee is struggling with his game at the moment and he has lost that edge and hence is a fair distance behind Walmsley, Amor, Graham and LMS. It's going to take a fair chunk of this season to recover from that last season injury, he's does like getting stuck into Warrington though so maybe today might kickstart his season.

That's why I said that they would 'try' to bully us today. I just hope Chris Kendall gets a grip early and is equally consistent throughout the game.
