I think we should kick out on the full time & time again to get some defensive practice in.

Bloody hell. It's been years since I've been fooled by the time difference between NZ and the UK. Just on a tiki tour of the East Coast on a weeks holiday with Mrs Singe with remote internet access. Logged on to the BBC site as I thought the game was yesterday and saw 'St Helens 16:15 Catalans Dragons'. Thought we'd scraped through by a point until it dawned on me....

Im not sure thats accurate. I can recall some pretty horrific treatment of players in the past.

    But no we shouldn't kneel

I remember when we played at Hull KR there were a couple of games when they threw banana skins on the pitch for Sullivan and Nickle. When that happened I placed my own personal life ban on that club and I have never been back since. People might also remember Hull K R throwing a bottle at Meli when he was scoring in the corner at our temporary home ground at Widnes.

Oh sure, there's been the 'usual' racist stuff from some fans (see banana skins above), just as there has been homophobic stuff more recently.
However, I was talking about the sport in general, and I feel that we have been ahead of the curve where the inclusivity of black people is concerned.
A prime example is Clive Sullivan who I believe was the first black guy to captain a GB international sports team.

I'm trying to work out how you throw a banana skin more than a couple of yards.

We can't hold any morale high ground i'm afraid. I remember back in the 80's whenever a black player recieved the ball the crowd under the scaff would start making monkey noises.

I remember a banana or two being lobbed at Offiah, as well.

Thankfully, that sort of behaviour disappeared from our speccies in the 80's (even if the attitudes were only suppressed rather than the people become enlightened)

Seems it was all the rage in the 70's.
I've never taken either, but I can remember plenty of bricks being lobbed around at certain games!

I've not seen either happen for a long time. I can't really see the point harping on about it, society has in the main changed.
