I think any pitch being played on in the winter would be the same.

Especially when the only time it's seemed to stop raining is when it's been snowing.

You make me glad I'm not there. Though I'm sure it's more fun than I currently have, spending two weeks in an isolation hotel.

Oh it's great here, you're really missing out. Today, I walked up to my Dad's via the pie shop in the shitty sleet and back again.

You'll soon be supping a cold beer down Clarke's Quay. Must admit, I'm not looking forward to doing the isolation myself, and it won't be in Singapore either.

Clarkes Quay is not a bad shout.

Clarkes Quay is always a good shout. A few light ales there, wander over to China town for a feed and then get a cab to Orchard Towers for some well deserved R&R.

If you are ever over and just want a good lively bar try the Blue Jaz

Ah right, probably best to give the 4 floors a miss then.

I've been in Blue Jazz, it's a good place. If you like Japanese food there's a great place down CQ near the Novotel called Tomo Izakaya (I had to google the name) and another smashing place very close by on a boat, just don't ask the owner of that place if she caught the fish for the sushi in the harbour, she properly took the hump with me for that.
