The best thing Cunningham did as coach in bringing Taia over.

Not completely unexpected but still sad to see him go.

He's given us 4 fantastic years so far and I'm sure he'll give everything for whatever is left of this season.

Good luck to him and let's hope he can finish with some more trophies.

Been one of my favourite players, his workrate is fantastic and he will be sadly missed. Just hope Joel Thompson can measure up to him on the attacking front.

He’s been great for us. He had half a season two seasons ago where he looked finished, however last season was great.

I actually thought he looked as good as ever the start of this season also, he played outstanding against Sydney Roosters.

Let’s hope he can keep it up when the season restarts. He will be missed.

No surprise but still sad to see him go. Been a great signing for us and a consistent part of our success. Wish him all the best.

(This all but confirms the Joel Thompson signing too).

Manly and thompson have both announced he is with us from 2021. Just for some reason we have not done so. Looks like they may wana wait until season resumes

A class player and good luck to him in the future.

From Saints point of view that's big gap to fill.

He’s not named us. He was asked in the interview where he was going and he said he couldn’t say.

But yeah, it’s just left to us to confirm what everyone knows now.

I had my doubts when we first signed him - mostly because I was miffed the crappy treatment by Cunningham had driven Greenwood out.

But what a player he's been for us. Holbrook polished him into the perfect second rower for his team and he's been phenomenal.

    A thoroughly nice bloke, too.

Wish him every success back in Aus for the future.

Zeb was an unexpected (for me) succcess. Very skilful player who has been a catalyst to much of our best stuff. Always showed full commitment too! I wish him all the best for the future. On a more cautious note, am I the only one worried that under Woolf players appear to be leaving us? I know the reasons for each departure may be many and varied, but it could be that rather than building the dynasty many of us had hoped for and pushing on from last years towering display, maybe players think that could not happen under the present coach? Obviously, I hope I'm wrong.

With the age of quite a few of our players it was always going to be the case of players leaving,be it for the nrl,a bigger contract elsewhere or retirement.

From what I can see it seems Zeb is retiring. He has been a great player but looked burnt out towards the end of the 2018 season. He was managed better last season but I think the time is right for him to leave.

He is in his mid 30's and I would assume it has nothing to do with Woolf.

He came to us as a proven SL player and delivered. Been a great signing, that did a lot of the unheralded work. All the best for your retirement.

A cracking signing for us. He’s made a real contribution the club and hopefully we can send him off with a bit more silverware.

Mike Rush said last year that we’d be looking at multiple signings/departures at the end of 2020. So I think it would’ve been inevitable regardless of the coach.
