Peyroux OOC too. As it stands (making a couple of assumptions):
OUT: Taia, Graham
IN: Thompson, Paasi
OOC: Peyroux, Amor, LMS, Ashworth
There’s also Paulo who is under contract for 2021 but very much on the fringes. It wouldn’t surprise me to see more players leave than come in as I think we are heavily stacked in the forwards as it stands. Ashworth and Paulo could both leave without it having much impact but if any of Amor, LMS or Peyroux leave I think they’d need replacing.
NEVER WRITE OFF THE SAINTS
I think you are right. Got mixed feelings on this. Not got strong feelings on either particularly.
However there is some housekeeping to be done as Saints seem to have a lot of odds and ends in the pack.
Paulo - Gone into witness protection.
Peyroux - going ?
Batchelor - Is he ever going to get a chance , if not why keep him.
Ashworth - Drifted into obscurity , going ?
Doesn't seem be any young forwards coming through or are there? Don't know.
Need a proper winger in or around the first team. A junior who can cover wing not a Swift salaried player.
If there is some movement tidying up Paulo,Peyroux,Batchelor and Ashworth then 12 months for Amor and LMS would be pragmatic.
If not then just compounds the problem.
Walmsley, Paasi, Amor, LMS and Lee with Roby that is still one of the best front rows in super league.
Thompson, Bentley, Knowles we are weak in the backrowers if Peyroux leaves. LMS would have to double up as a backrower or start to give Batchelor a run of games instead a one off appearance.
Yes. He was in the last squad.
Could be the next Morgan Knowles or the next Lewis Charnock.
Very difficult with no reserve , academy or championship for anyone.
Therefore no development for any young players across the game.
Point remains need to make some decisions the six players named above.
Does Stuart Pyke fart at the begining of this interview?

There should be only 3 ways a transfer works:
1) Woolf says he wants a specific player
2) Woolf says he needs to fill a position, Rush puts a list together of who is available and Woolf chooses from that
3) Through Rush’s contacts or an agent a player becomes available, Rush asks Woolf if it’s someone he can fit into the squad and proceeds from there
I would always want the head coach (Woolf) making the decisions on the transfers. The CEO (Rush) making the transfers happen. The chairman/owner (McManus) signing off on the expenditure.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.
Looking forward to seeing him in the redvee, his defence looks superb, his impact both on and off the field has been commended in the NRL.
Welcome Goat
Agree about mcmeekan. He would be my first choice..
