Evidence, Harry: 10 year veteran of the NRL. One of the best back rowers going around. I rest my case m’lord. Personally I’m surprised he’s leaving. Manly offered a shorter contract!! Could have been over there last season with Hull KR. You’re the winner.

Not doubting him as a player, just looking for evidence that we've signed him which someone else has provided. Not sure why Saints haven't announced it yet unless they're going to use it to soften some other bad news.

Well he’s been granted a release from his final year with Manly. Unless he intends to play in Bulgaria, I think you can count him in.

If you missed the game you did not miss much of Jo Thommo . injured in 2nd minute of the game (sprained ankle).

https://www.nrl.com/news/2020/07/30/...he-difference/ Joel Thompson interview here -talks about his upbringing and the work he does to support young ones, particularly indigenous kids. The NRL Indigenous Round has obviously got a lot of media coverage in Aus - one thing that stood out for me was that although the high profile players like JT and Latrell Mitchell get a lot of coverage it was mentioned in the player meetings Joel Thompson is the man they all look to for direction and leadership.

What I cannot understand , he seems to have a regular place in the Manly side & is doing a fantastic job helping the young men over there , why does he want to move to UK . After saying that I certainly do hope he signs for Saints .

He has said he is looking forward to experiencing life in another country. He also underlined that he enjoyed SL and looks forward to playing over there. All very positive and straight from the horse’s mouth.

I can only presume there's issues over the contract, not in terms of him signing, just how the dates line up from being out of contact at manly, to being able to sign for ourselves

I've no doubt he's coming just the small details at the moment

Took me a while reading that to realise a 'yarning circle' has nothing to do with knitting. Quite relieved.

At his request. He wants a longer contract in SL. A great buy for you.
