    Default Nilling the Opposition

Just need some assistance from fans with a good memory of nil scoring the opposition, I,m wondering if we have nilled every single club/country over the decades. For Leeds I seem to remember a 45-0 score but I think we have done better than that.

    Latest EDITED advised scores.

    Carlisle. 112-0
    Warrington. 80-0
    Oldham 76-0
    Wigan. 75-0
    Featherstone 70-0
    Leeds. 68-0
    York. 62-0
    London Skolars 56-0
    Bradford 54-0
    London 54-0
    Workington. 62-0
    Widnes. 60-0
    Hull KR. 54-0
    Hull 45-0
    Castleford. 41-0
    Salford. 38-0
    Catalan
    Toronto. 32-0
    Wakefield. 24-0
    Huddersfield 11-0
    Australia 9-0
    Celtic 4-0

Footnote: In advance don't want a Rogues contribution of 27-0 is better than 75-0 nonsense.

I think I remember us beating Leeds something like 68-0 the week before they played in the cup final in '94. They had their a-team out (I think Nick Fozzard played his first senior game for them that day).

    EDIT: Here you go

Didn't we beat Hudds 11-0 at their place in early 1999? Lashed it down if I remember rightly?

Yes, I got stuck in a bloody traffic jam in North Wales and missed the coach.

Was looking at who we’d played in the early rounds of the cup this Millennium the other day, we beat York 62-0 in 2005, Hull KR 50-0 in ‘06, London Skolars 56-0 in ‘08, Featherstone 70-0 in 2011 and Oldham 76-0 in 2012.

I think I remember us putting 40 on Castleford in a play-off semi under Nathan Brown but can’t remember if they scored one.

    41-0 it was: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-league/29220939

Was that the game we played the last 10mins with 11 players and the score was something like 38-0.

EDIT: was 35-0 around June 2003 with a fairly big following from Saints.

Was absolutely chucking it down, we played in the Black kit if I remember correctly, Scully had a cracker of a game. Cracking performance and scoreline, dodgy weather!

The Bulls had some good tonkings from us after that, beat them 50-0 at their place (2013) and 54-0 at our place (2012). I think in that period Bulls were on the slide by then.

Aye, June in Bradford, it bucketed it down and then I think the sun came out right at the end but I was still soaked when we got back to town. I can’t remember a great deal of the game but for some reason we watched the second half from the home terrace. I don’t miss that dump of a ground one bit.

Saints heritage society website is great for things like this.

    http://www.saints.org.uk/saints/index.php

    To fill some gaps:

    Leeds 68-0 in 1994.
    Salford 38-0 in 2014.
    Wakefield 24-0 in 2001.

Catalans we have never nilled, they have nilled us twice though!

Yes I checked Catalans was it something like 0-42 and 0-24, Leeds gave us a good tonking once at their place, I was there and watched the 0-70 embarassment. I think we have nilled Huddersfield better than the current 11-0.

    26-0 in 2013 but that was a pre-season friendly.
