    Default Justin Holbrook Podcast

    Hello everyone,

This is my first post on Red Vee, but I'm a lifelong Saints fan who has followed the Red Vee forum.

I grew up watching the Saints in the late 90's and early 2000's at Knowsley Road.

During Justin Holbrook's reign at Saints, my Dad and I were very fortunate enough to spend a lot of time with Justin in and around the club at trainings, meetings, and also with him in the Starbucks at Windle island.

My Dad and I wrote a coaching book called 'Gold Dust: How To Become A More Effective Coach, Quickly' that got released on November 27th 2019 and has been a #1 best seller on Amazon for pretty much six months since its release. Justin features heavily in the book talking about what he did during his time at Saints.

On the back of the success of the book, my Dad and I released a podcast and had Justin come on and talk about his time at Saints, and what made him so successful. If anybody is interested in listening to it, the link is below:

This particular episode of the podcast means a lot to me as a die hard Saints fan, especially after the impact Justin had on our town!

Hope those that listen in enjoy!

That was a good listen. Great man and a great coach, I'm glad that he retains ties to the people of St Helens

I'll always be a Holbrook fan too!

A good listen. Comes through as a very likeable person

I've only listed to the first 10 minutes at the moment but the one thing that he mentions as a standout is "Coaching Energy" which is the subject at the top of his list, some of our club coaches have a "Monotone Style" of coaching and that doesn't seem to fit in most cases.

Ended up listening to it in bed last night. He's a genuine nice guy, intelligent but also shown he had a bit of steel about him. He'll go as far as he wants in the game.

Thank you all for your kind words.

Justin is a great guy, as we all know. I hope the podcast did it justice for him!
