I had a look at Josh Kerrs stats and I have to say that at 25 or close he would seem to be a better proposition than a couple of old has beens and Graham didn't have a bigger fan than me but his clock has been ticking for a long time now.

But realistically could you see him signing for a superleague club ?

SOO players have always been untouchable regardless of money. If a player think he may get selected then he wont come to England.
I could agree with you but then we would both be wrong.

You think some players may get extensions because of this.

Josh Kerr has had great games in the Indigenous All Stars v Maori All Stars. Never really seem to have had. long go at St George. But unit with big skills.

Let’s face it we are either after pension top up players or young ones worth a punt on...or you get ones with “history”. Some check out, some don’t...

Some NRL fringe players, if scouted correctly, could do a great job. He’s a team of “just out the current 17” players who could do a really good job in SL. Most, not all, are mid 20s or younger...

    1 Matt Dufty St George
    2 Keirod Holland Canterbury
    3 Paul Momrovski Melbourne
    4 Tauta Moga Newcastle
    5 Ryan Hall Roosters
    6 Lachlan Lam Roosters
    7 Troy Dargan Souths
    8 Jarrod Wallace Titans
    9 Chris Randall Newcastle
    10 Josh Kerr St George
    11 Jack Gosiewski Manly
    12 Michael Chee Kam Wests

Unless an NRL player is very much on the fringe of a squad, getting to the end of their career,is unwanted by a club or is in a bit of trouble we are not going to get top class from there. Just to match the minimum wage of a player in a 30 man nrl squad would cost roughly £57,000. If any of those players listed are playing on 12 or more games a year then the chances of us picking any of them up are slim.

The irony is that the best chance we have of getting NRL players in their peak years is simply bringing back the English lads that get homesick or don’t make the grade. They earn the equivalent of 5-6 years here by doing 2 years in the NRL and then come back. Any top Australian born player that is at Origin level is out of the question, even if they play for clubs that aren’t competing.

Isn't Ryan Sutton OOC end of this season. I wouldn't mind us keeping an eye out on him. Although I imagine the pies have first dibs.

Just looking at Tamou's stats for his career and he would be a very good addition to the team

Good all round stats, couple of steps up from Luke Douglas and closer to Alex Walmsley for effectiveness.
