I have basically said the same in the past, but that was before we knew we were losing Tommo. If we could get two 25 mins out of him he would be well worth his place, and our pack wouldn't be going backwards against Cas nor Warrington.

I get that and I also wonder how much commercial value Graham holds. I know he's not going to pay for himself like a footballer does but I wonder how much income Graham could generate for the club for being back at the club for a year. I remember people from a range of places made the trip to watch Barba's debut vs Wigan and I imagine you'd get the same sort of reaction for Graham's return and his first game at LP. 250 shirts sold with "Graham 10" on the back at an average of £54 (the average between adults shirt cost with name & number and the kids price) is £13,500 and a couple of ticketed forums starring Graham would bring in some revenue in ticket sales/beer drunk. While the club may lay out x amount on Graham, I think, even over one year, that outlay is offset somewhat by income generated through Graham elsewhere.

The thing about Graham's age is that he has always struck me as a player who could play well into his late 30s. His game was never based on explosiveness, pace or power, which are the things that go with age. It was always based on strength, durability, guile and near-psychotic levels of competitiveness which are things that stick around for much longer. So I suspect that, barring any major injury, he'll still be a very good player until the day he retires - it's just a question of how long he feels he wants to carry on putting his body through it.

Hearing these Jammer rumours recently. NO, NO, NO thanks. A great player in his day but past it now. Our forwards are better than NRL forwards. If he’s going ok in the NRL it means nothing. It doesn’t automatically mean he will be good enough for super league.

I don’t think we can justify a big wage on a player well past his peak, to generate money from a forum listening to the bull of how he wishes he would have come back a few years earlier etc, there must be a prop we can transfer from a club needing some transfer cash

Wire might throw big money at him, they have Hill and Cooper coming to their sell by date.

I've never complained to the site mods about any comment about me, so why bring me into it?

Don't worry Rogues, I was just curious. If I've done someone's head in, I wish they'd PM me instead

You'll probably never know, but I do find it funny you pondering over who you have upset.

It works both ways, it could have been a positive reputation comment. Has your Rep Power number changed up or down?

More than likely someone liked one of your posts and hit the positive rep button. It just appears in the PMs as a reputation comment with nothing else attached.

It's the only way Cyprus could think of, to turn the thread into a Wigan topic.

Well, it isn't exactly that. But there are a few icons below each persons name and avatar on the left hand side. One is a sheriffs badge icon, and it allows you to either give positive or negative feedback on that persons post.

Fantastic Belgian. I am actually really envious of Wiganners, as an only child I can only ever dream of having what they have.
