I wonder if there is a possibility of a straight swap with him & Fage, sounds like the guy would love to play alongside Lomax.

Hi There Saints fans, just thought I would pop in and say hello
I left for Australia from Chelmsford Essex in 1969 (a 10 pound pom) for Sydney, shortly after adopting the Roosters as my new team.

I'ts sure to be a cracker match this weekend between our two sides
The battle up front should be a beauty

I would expect the Roosters will kick some high balls to the left side for Daniel Tupou, so the winger on that side will be tested. Toupou can leap and collect the ball at a height above 3 metres. A new rule has been adopted in the NRL this year that regardless of defensive or attacking plays no player can be tackled in the air, this previously only applied to the defensive side, so I expect the Roosters will exploit this change.
Does this same rule apply in Super League?

Also if there is anything Rooster related that you want to know, please just ask.

Our right side winger is this half decent lad called Tommy Makinson. You might not have heard of him living in the Aussie bubble

    Thanks fishy3005

Great, it should be a good contest Tommy Makinson against Daniel Tupou then.
The weather conditions will test the Rooster players, after training in the mid 30s over here.

I see your side has some gun forwards, so up front should be a great battle too.

Welcome Rooster. Our last WCC we were out of the game early on.If this doesn’t happen on Saturday and I don’t think it will it should be a cracker of a game. The weather today is awful It’s forecast very heavy rain all day.Saints pitch drains well so it won’t be a mud bath and it won’t be to cold on Saturday night not for us anyway 7 degrees. We will have to be at our best to win.KW has targeted this game so we have been building for it.Enjoy the game.

Thanks for the welcome saint mac
Its a pity it isn't foggy because the Roosters have been training in bush fire smoke lately.

One thing for sure is the Roosters will take this game seriously.
The Roosters club, the owner and Trent Robinson view this game as an important day on the footy calendar.
The minute we won the Grand Final the owner Nick Politis was talking up this game.
And the Roosters have been preparing for this game since last October.
I hope it is a cracker match, with lots of quality footy
And if your side wins this match there will be no excuses from the Roosters.
And your team will rightfully be the best club team in the world.
    Good luck

Yeh the closer it gets the more excited I get. I just hope our injury list doesn't cause our downfall.

Can’t take someone’s throat out with your elbow if they’re tackling you properly
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

Put your shoulder in and wrap the arms, preferably while someone else tackles the legs.

I think, out of them all, this lad Tedesco, is the lad I want to see perform in the flesh. Pure class and at his peak, great test for our lads.

I see RLFANS.COM are out of touch with reality or maybe they have put their blinkers on, they think we are playing the Catalans this weekend.

    EDIT: Now removed.

    Seems a risk playing Percival.
Just hope there is no risk for further injury. Its said there isn't....
Should be a cracker with some of the big boys back
If Robes can put in one of his best we might have a chance
