    Default Regan Grace

Hope him coming off was only a precaution. Does anyone know what happened? If he doesn't play on Saturday then who do you think should be put on the wing?

You might mock but Barrie works with my wife and he can still shift when he wants too.

Hope you're right. I think he might have failed a HIA, in which case you can't play for 7 days. So he'd miss next weeks game on that basis. If today's game had been on the Friday like it normally is, he would've been ok.

Hope I'm wrong as he'd be a big loss and leave us with a pretty weak left hand side.

I think they changed the HIA to 8 days if you fail,at least that's what i think they said in the Leeds game the other week when Hurrel failed his.

From Woolf's post match interview he didn't mention a head knock HIA he just took him off precautionary for a shoulder knock, didn't seem too concerned and was expecting him to be OK for next week.

Ir's 8 days for HIA. All depends on whether he needed a check.

I've not seen his tackling attempt yet but what has crossed my mind was our introduction of more wrestling technique, we lost Percy last week with shoulder impact and now Grace yesterday with a similar impact. Something the coach needs to be aware of perhaps.

Probably best to ignore Woolf’s initial prognosis given that he said Percy would probably only be missing for a couple of weeks with his shoulder.

Up there with KCs Classic about Vea. 50/50 for the next game and missed 6 months.

Although to be fair to them I’m sure it’s the medical team telling them that and not just their own opinion.

I'm fully expecting Regan to miss next week's game under the mandatory 8 day head injury rule.

Who said it's a head injury? Everyone said shoulder didn't they? Was he obviously knocked to the head?

Just watched the replay he took the knock (heavy tackle) on 20 mins around the top shoulder and neck area and carried on playing fo another 20 mins so I would imagine the HIA wasn't considered.

He took Naulago out in midair as he was diving in to put the ball down in the corner.
A very good and brave tackle - in the loosest sense of the word as he just threw himself at him.
He was on the floor sitting down receiving treatment from the physio - it looked like all the usual checks when you do a head test. I was surprised he didn’t go off at the time to be honest. Can’t remember how long into the game - probably about 30 minutes.
Wasn’t surprised when he didn’t come out after half time - neither did Naulogo, so not sure if he got injured at the same time.

I used to work with him at rainford group when I was a kid. He was at Leigh at the time. Cracking bloke and looked after me when some of the older lads where just bullies.

Barry is a postie now guys and good to say he still seems the same guy that you remember him at the Rainford Group and what I remember him from his playing days, decent bloke and modest with it.
