Oh boy. Here we go again.
Oh boy. Here we go again.
I wrote on this thread a few months ago that this was a test for RL’s newly found moral compass after the noise around folau.
Looks like that compass has been put back in the cupboard. The usually vocal RL journalists seem surprisingly quiet on this subject?

Gash player. He’s up there with Ricky Bibey and Ryan Bailey for most overly decorated players.
screaming in the family corner, scaring the kiddies
I`d say Inglis is definitely coming over. Despite what many are saying I don`t think he is the type of man who would commit if he could not do a half-decent job. It is a gamble signing but he may be the one to get them through the mental aspect of crossing the finish line.
It does feel a little late for Wire to get shut, they should have at least made him sit in the stand for the season.
But at least they have done it now.
I could agree with you but then we would both be wrong.
Don't know about Inglis, one of the worlds best four or five seasons ago but injuries have took their toll.
It does seem that Wire are more interested in headline grabbing signings rather building a team. Perhaps that's the way they see their business plan, if they make enough money and keep making the playoffs they may reckon that one day they will win it.
But qualifying for and winning GF is based on having a durable squad that can stay the course
I know Warrington seem to be investing in youth not before time. Don't know much about that Roby guy but strange to let him leave if he's well regarded?
Leigh looking to sign him apparently...... some story on Twitter that his brief reckons he’s less likely to get a custodial if he’s got a job.....
Can't stop the spirits when they need you.
This life is more than just a read through.
Leigh have now signed him.

It's a nice look for the sport.
To be fair, Gelling never struck me as the sort of bloke that would go around bashing women. Wire flew his missus out of the country after the incident and from what I have seen on in the media the kid(s) appear to be still with him and he is pleading self defence. All looks a bit strange. At the end of the day the only people who know what happened are him and his partner and the rest of us will have to see what comes out in the wash after the trial.
Wrt rugby, think Wire found GI was available but they needed to lose a quota player to get him in. Gells, given the situation, was always going to be the one being shown the door.
It was strange how Warrington dealt with it. Suspended Gelling when he was arrested, but then lifted the suspension about 6 weeks later even though they knew it would end up in court. Not guilty plea is weird, unless she has lunged at him with a knife or something. Now my team Leigh who are desperate for some players who aren't other clubs rejects, sign him. Can't say I'm delighted, because at the end of the day he's punched a woman and fractured her eye socket....allegedly.
