Is there any lads kicking about in the lower leagues that may be worth a punt?
I don't watch enough NRL to know tbh. From those we've been linked with Molo looks the best player. I've watched him since we were linked and he'd destroy teams over here, very destructive and plays good minutes. There's not many options over here sadly. I think we need a fairly established player to replace Thompson and a project type player if Ashworth leaves (Mulhern?).

I genuinely think Luke is going to end up carrying this whole team.
Has anything been cleared up with the out of contract players? Peyroux, Amor, Ashworth all still out of contract are they not?
So far we've got Thompson in for Taia and Luke Thompson confirmed leaving. I've not missed anything have I?
The players were to be in formed by 26th June if they were being retained.

The article is from 28th April, I don't know if things have changed again since.
Under normal circumstances, those approaching the end of their deals are told by May 1 whether their club wants to retain them or not. They also have the option of stating they are undecided.
But that date has been pushed back to June 26 for full-time players – and September for part-time players in the lower-leagues – because of the coronavirus crisis.
The season has been on hold for more than a month and with so much uncertainty over clubs’ finances – and many staff on furlough – the RFL thought it fair to give clubs more time to decide their intentions. Players in the final year of their contracts are still free to begin talking to rival clubs from next week.
Luke Thompson starting at loose forward on Sunday morning.
You’re both wrong haha. It’s 8:30am on Saturday.
NEVER WRITE OFF THE SAINTS
Interesting to see that Bulldogs have named Luke in the starting 13 but at Lock not Prop
Solid start from Thompson.
Started and played until the 52nd minute. Edit: Returned for the last 9 mins.
Lead the tackle chart at half time.
Some solid runs.
No line breaks.
On report for a shoulder charge the only real negative.
Very similar to Jammers debut in the NRL.

I could agree with you but then we would both be wrong.
Canterbury coach has resigned .
