It was a shame mate. I was impressed by Percival's physicality last night. The problem for me is we don't look like we have a lot of punch amongst the young lads / reserves in the forwards. I'm not bought in on Ashworth, Smith needs to progress (plateud), not sure what happened with Batchelor last night. The only one I think does look good is Bentley and he is being played out of position. Hopefully Eaves will progress because he was rated by all accoutns.

I actually thought BMM caught Percival with a short elbow in the first half, the second one was reckless on Percival's part. Maybe I'm just clutching at straws.

FFS. SOme players have no luck. If that is true, then hopefully the kid recovers as quickly as possible.

Not having any luck that lad, I think he picked up a leg and shoulder injury over a year ago.

Is that confirmed? We can’t stick with Costello covering in the centre, he is absolute garbage! Offers nothing in attack, too slow, not physical and all over the place in defence. If Simm is fit now he has to play at centre with his record of scoring, his tough defence and speed. He must be in the top 2 or 3 for speed in the squad. Give Simm game time and forget Costello or moving others from other positions into the centres.

Fair play Shady I have seen nothing in Costello he doesn't get better. Matty Flemming was similar.

I made the same comparison last night on twitter.

Costello won’t let you down in terms of effort and endeavour but he’s a very limited rugby player at the top level I’m afraid.
I think maybe “make do and mend” for the next couple of weeks when we are patched up but then perhaps for the Toronto game I’d like them to try something else. Whether that’s Simm or Welsby at centre or Makinson centre and Welsby wing I don’t know. But Costello at centre for “several months” doesn’t excite me one bit.

I,m assuming Costello will be centre until Coote comes back into the side, then Welsby will take over that position. I see it more of a positive both players get game time in a settled position more beneficial for Welsby who has the better vision and skill set for centre play.

He was having treatment at half time for a tight lower calf muscle and wasn't 100% in the second half.

Does anyone reckon Walmesley will cop a ban after his dangerous tackle on Saturday which resulted in their last penalty?

He came over to the sidelines at the end and was pinning heavily, a guy stood with us asked him about it and he said it’d be a few days before he knew anything.....

As the tackled player did not land with any pressure on his neck, I presume the match review panel deemed the award of an on-field penalty sufficient punishment.

IIRC they only meet every two weeks for these games.

According to reports.. All players came through WCC without injury. Grace is back also. Coote back either V Giants or latest V Tigers.
