Wigan charge 5.99 a month, which surprised me, I expected it to be higher. I’d certainly pay more if the content was worth it. With most of our games being on Sky, people who don’t live local and get to games, largely, get to watch us this way, so we’d need decent content on there to get people renewing year-on-year and engaging with the content.

Full coverage of Academy and Reserve games would be nice, I imagine it would be delayed coverage or released the day after a game to not have an effect on crowd figures.

Speaking of game coverage, so to speak, now Wish FM has stopped all coverage does RedV not fancy doing a web based broadcast for those who can't attend the games?

Are Radio Merseyside stopping their online coverage, too?

I have said yes but I know it will mean less people going through the gates on match days.

Why would it? Most of our games are televised on Sky anyway and for those that aren’t, I’m certain, much like Wigan can’t and don’t do, they won’t be on a Saints TV type production.

Time to get rid of Sky if you're only interested in Saints games.

Will purchase this next week when I get paid. £5.99 a month is excellent value for what they’re offering.

It is, especially if they include the audio commentary they have said they are working on, ideal if you are unable to go for whatever reason and we are not on Sky.

That'll sway it for me if they offer a live audio commentary, I'll sign up.

I'll probably just get the off day pass, I'll probably only watch the odd away game, once you take out the Sky game. There's probably not a lot I'd watch. No interest in the women's or reserve game really.

If I had a bit more time I'd probably sign up to watch most of the content..

Great for people who can only get to a handful of games

This may be a stupid question still, but here goes.
Will Saints TV be accessible to watch on TV or just computers / phones and tablets..
Saints TV can be seen via YouTube at the moment but they state in the link that that will stop once this is up and running.
    Any answers welcome.

On the website it says they will stop posting on YouTube as part of the existing Saints TV.

Most smart TVs have web browsers that you can maximise video on. I watched premier sports coverage of the NRL this way.

A lot of Smart TVs also have "sling" functionality that allows you to view you phone/tablet on your TV via Bluetooth. For example, I have a Samsung Phone and TV that are linked.

    Going a little further...

Streaming services like the Sky, Netflix, Amazon Prime and WWE network have smart TV apps. These do need designing and programming which is expensive. However if the Super League club got together to form "Super League TV" they could probably have something like this. Then who knows, when the TV deal is up they could show live matches on it.

    Yes. I would subscribe.
No. It would not prevent me attending either home or away games.

But does this service require fast broadband and if so what speed

Thanks... Although I started to get into a mild sweat when you started doing into ‘sling functionality’. (technophobe)
It’s just I hate watching videos on my tablet.

When I want to watch something being streamed from my laptop on my television, I plug an HTMI cable from laptop to telly, and using the TV/AV button on my remote, choose the appropriate HTMI channel. It works well (and I'm no techie). I expect a wireless connection is possible, but I don't need it and wouldn't know how to get it.

The new subscription service will be excellent for me here in Kent. I just need to decide which 'package' I'm going to have.
