Nothing irrational about disliking Ferres. A cheap shot snide horror. Lomax spear tackle and Lees late hit show that. Most on this thread seem to be perfectly rational dislikes to me.

Irrational dislikes of mine: Jack Hughes (I just hate him), Ratchford (because he's good), & that speed demon on the wing for Wigan (Liam Marshall) because if he gets an interception or a kind bounce, he's gone.

Not sure many are irrational dislikes most are understandable ! I have an irrational like of Jake Connor.....I should dislike him but I think he is a really talented RL player and I would love him at Saints. (If we could just concentrate him on his game)

The current player that really winds me up the most is Tony Gigot. Don't know why, he just does

On the other side of the coin which player from the saints side is irrationally disliked by opposition fans, without naming him I think we could end up with one favourite.

Not sure about now but Danny Arnold always struck me as someone who opposition fans would hate. A player with arrogance and an ego that outweighed his talent.

Joe Burgess - hair pulling NRL reject
    Micky McIlorum - dirty, snidey
    Stevie Waugh - massive ego
Robert Hicks - thought he played for Dire

LMS seems to manage to wind up every other opposition fan, never seen a positive comment about him from any of them. That's probably why we find him so entertaining as well as he puts his heart and soul into it every game.

Marshall is a good shout, I hate him because he looks a bit like some skinny runt engineer I used to work with who annoyed me on a daily basis. Also Dec Patton for having the name Declan which is an out and out dickhead's name even though he shares a surname with a good mate of mine.

Some people aren't getting what this thread is about.

    Other than those mentioned above:
Iestyn Harris - Crying to the ref every 10 seconds, loathed him with a passion
Brandon Costin - Late Assault on Longy - though that dislike is more rational

I used to hate Scott Naylor. He had this air of surly arrogance and playing with his socks rolled down annoyed me far more than it had any right to.

Ryan Bailey - loud mouthed, cheap shot merchant. When Radford hit him he even got away without catching the full weight of those punches
Stefan Ratchford - overrated and one dimensional, people sauce themselves because he has a good step (but little else).
Tomkins brothers - as seemingly classless on the pitch as they are on it.
Carl Ablett - not sure why, just a lump and it annoyed me when he was picked as an international centre.
Danny Brough - great rugby brain but comes across as thick as a plank, constant crying to the ref irritating as well
Kelvin Skerrett - Loathed with passion. Complete 'roid head.
    James Lowes - Gobshite.
    Lee Penny - Binhead thug.
    Kenny Edwards - classless thug.
    Dave Taylor - lazy slob
Terry Newton - epitome of a cheap shot thug.
Brendan Tuuta - never seemed to get the pasting he deserved
    Brad Hepi - see above
Joe Burgess - overated NRL failure
Danny Arnold - 'Do you know who I am?' Answer: 'Yes, but I'm worried that you appear not to know who you are.'
    Paul Davidson - Bully
Tom Lineham / Josh Charnley - In their household at Warrignton, the former is shite anyway.
Chris Hill - Despise that stupid scrum cap and moaning like baby to the ref. Past it.
    Colin Maskell - Dirty thug.
    Martin Offiah - Show off.
Paul March - Another cheap shot merchant.
Jamie Mathiou - Shit but annoyed me.
Gareth Carvell - 10 minute pudding. A fair player and not dirty.

Lee Penny is great shout. I can still see his stupid podgy face.

always remember when he was sent off for taking Allan Hunte's head off in the first season of Super League. Brilliant end to the game as we scored 8 unanswered points to nick the game.

Marshall is an underated player in my opinion; good finisher and a better than Burgess but rarely gets a mention

When you thing about it Wire seem to contribute recent past and present the greatest number of "scrotes"in superleague, Charnley, Lineham, Atkins, Cooper, Hill,Akauola Hughes, Patton, Westwood and there fans wonder why their team is disliked across the community.
