Default Redvee Team of the Decade: The Subs

Following the success (and following protests) of the Team of the Decade, I have decided to create an extra poll to decide on the four subs for the team.

The poll will only allow a maximum of 10 options so I have tried to select some of our best options of the decade based those unsuccessful in previous polls but who got plenty of mentions / votes. There are players who have been left out but it's hard to narrow down 'the best of the rest'.

If you could please select four options from the 10 options I've selected for you to vote for.

    The options are:

    - Ben Barba
    - Regan Grace
    - Kevin Naiqama
    - Leon Pryce
    - Luke Walsh
    - LMS
    - Luke Thompson
    - Keiron Cunningham
    - Tony Puletua
    - Morgan Knowles

The poll will be open until the 23rd December so just 5 days to vote. The highest 4 options will make the bench spots (providing there are four clear winners ).

I almost left out KC in case there was going to be a Coach of the Decade vote but decided that he could be on the replacements bench wearing his headphones in case Holbrook needed some assistance.

    Went with
    1. Kc to cover hooking role plus i picked him at starting 9 but for me you need a hooker on the bench
    2. Lms
    3. Thompson
    4. Knowles - picked hin over wilkin in the loose forward role

Picked 3 forwards, LMS, Thompson, Knowles and 1 back Price due to his versatility. No place for Kieron, others can cover hooker.

The two props of Thommo & LMS

    Other forward sub of Knowles

Then Barba to come on and rip a tiring opposition a new one.

I reckon LMS is the only true sub on that list, played a lot more coming off the bench than the rest of the listed, followed by Knowles and Thompson.

Barba would come on early, do a fantastic job and get you up out of your seat cheering then largely disappear towards the last quarter. A bit like 2018 really.........
Can't stop the spirits when they need you.

This life is more than just a read through.

    From the list:
LMS- most suited to the interchange position from the selection. Provides impact and enthusiasm when he's on the field, through the middle or on an edge.
Thompson- should have been the starting prop for mine (with Graham and Walmsley to interchange)
Puletua- had great offloading ability. Can also play prop or SR.
Barba- I think you always need a pivot on the bench. And if he's not in the starting 13, he has to be on the bench. The most exciting player Saints have had over the decade.

    Regards,

    STEVO
