Not seen anything yet. They may wait and see how we progress in the Cup first and use one of these weekends if possible. If either team gets to the final it may have to be a midweek fixture.

Fantastic news, well done Saints and the Roosters. Luckily they have a coach who truly believes in the international game and the WCC concept. I genuinely can't wait.
We haven't lost any players from last year and I just hope we go into it without injuries. The Roosters will be taking it seriously and if we win then it will be fully deserved.

No chance, he'll be preparing for the new season and has a lot to do to get Gold Coast even competitive for next season. I'm sure he'll be watching the game though.

May aswell wait till we're 10 points clear again and we can just forfeit the points.

Great news, looking forward to this one, Roosters have been outstanding, it's going to be one hell of a battle for us, but one I think the team, our new coach and all us fans will relish.

Not sure about the Roosters but for once the team we will go into the WCC with should be pretty similar to that which won the championship.
Usually there has been wholesale changes in the squad with in's and out's. As it stands no new signings and the couple that have shipped out ( Swift/ Douglas) didn't really feature in the campaign.

This certainly is better than a changed team. Just for sentimentality though not feasible, I would have liked to have had Justin coaching us for this game. Maybe Woolfe will be better?

It's hard to imagine how he could be better. He's certainty done a fantastic job with Tonga. I'm sure no one would have ever thought they would be able to compete with, let alone beat Australia! He seems to have got them playing a great style too. Hopefully we have got the perfect man for the job!

It's hard to judge yet, but based on results and availability, we do seem to have gone for the right guy.

I just hope its a closer game than what we have played in the past, the nilled game is still a big dissapointment for me. We do have the players to defend well and score points but we do need to avoid that strangle hold that the NRL sides can inflict on a super league side.

The mental approach will be important it needs to be played as though its the last game of the season and not one slotted between super league games with risks of being injured for the rest of the season.

I'm not confident of beating them but I am confident of us putting in a good show & going very close.

    I think we'll get edged 20-16.

    Gutted I can't go

I don't expect us to beat the Roosters, but I expect us to put up a considerably better fight than we did against Souths in 2015.
