Finished his career in great style for Scotland v Greece tonight. Just before the hooter sounded, he scored a try, and added the conversion !

So pleased for him. A hard working player, not spectacular but reliable.
Has he officially announced hes retired? Also any news in morgan?
It was announced some time ago that Douglas was retiring. Not sure about Morgan, though
Nice way to go out.
I had no idea Hugh Waddell had died and they dedicated the result to him https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-league/50273549
I think Hugh was the only GB capped player whilst on the books of the much missed Blackpool Borough RLFC.
As for Douglas, a very underrated player when he was here, and I'm a bit sad for him that he had to be the one farmed out this season, when we finally won silverware.
I feel sorry that he had to be the one to miss out this year but if you look at the way every one of our props played this season it was definitely the right decision by Holbrook.

No complaints about how it panned out, but if it was totally a Holbrook decision* it was a gamble, as Amor's performances in 2017 & 2018 didn't warrant a place last year.
* I've heard from a couple of people that Amor refused to go on loan - but given the imagination from Saints fans when it comes to rumours, I'm not giving this that much credence
