If you're going to correct me at least get your spelling right. I was quoting Ian Brown and he's more of a wordsmith than either me or you.
And I was quoting Congrieve from whose poem it comes

Looks like you mis-quoted it first time.

I'll quote myself "•••• off and bore someone else".

He's also a whiney Manc tosser who disappeared up his own arse after his band made one good album

He's actually from somewhere even worse and I like the Second Coming. He is a tosser though.

    He's from Warrington originally.

One good album but what an album it was. Plus his solo stuff is decent. F.E.A.R. is one of the greatest records of all time

    Wow

A bold claim regarding FEAR. I respectfully observe that you mustnt have a very diverse taste of you think that’s one of the best records of all time. It’s good, and it may be one of your favourites, but the bands debut album definitely is one of the greatest.

FEAR is great word play but I don't even think it's Brown's best song. To be honest since the band split I've preffered Primal Scream (Mani) and The Seahorses (Squire) to most of Brown's solo stuff.

Anyway, I believe Burgess is a big fan.
