I guess it's down to personal taste, but I've found the one's by O'Neill to suit me better than some of the older stuff. They pack and travel well and hold their shape. Easy to clean and dry quickly.
I had a clear out last year and sold all my old shirts on Ebay. Some of the pre-O'Neill ones were just like old rags!

In 2014 they did a cotton “home” shirt, and I bought that one instead of the nylon one so I echo your thoughts
Can't stop the spirits when they need you.

This life is more than just a read through.

O’Neills have just signed up with Penrith Panthers in the NRL for 3 yrs. Offering shirts for $99 for 99 days - which is a bit cheaper than normal prices over there. So they are spreading their net further afield.

I loved the ISC stuff but in fairness, the O’Neills gear I’ve bought has washed well and has been worth the money in my opinion. Some shirt designs have been a bit wacko - but not too bad on the whole.

I agree I thought the ISC shirts were much better quality material and I still love the plain dark blue away shirt as well as the home shirt they did these new ones are a lot flimsier material in comparison.

Why would we need a cotton shirt for a summer sport, even though we will probably start in January, when there is a chance of snow sleet and whatever. Just stick your polyester one on and pretend you are warm and comfortable in it.

This should be our away shirt.

I find the cotton one (2014) better to wear in the summer games. Its still my "go to" shirt for match day.

Hopefully a new cotton one will be made available this year.

I was being sarcastic, and do prefer the cotton ones myself.

Are saints waiting for the arrival of our new coach this week to unveil the new kit?

Are you suggesting Ellisons will be our new kit sponsor?

Possibly, although I don't know why the coach is important to that. They did however have an unveiling night for the fans, which they haven't even announced yet. Perhaps they've been busy signing the new kit deal last minute? It seems we're going with O'Neills again as the club retweeted a post by O'Neills on Twitter then deleted it, then re-tweeted a post by Keith Mason about O'Neills helping him.

Maybe it doesn't, maybe it does.

I've probably got better eyes than most, but the entire back of the kit is revealed on 11 seconds if you look close enough. A person walks away from the camera in the shirt, Hattons sponsor in it's usual position, thick red band across the top of the shoulders on the back.

In shocking news, the kit is mainly white!

In fact, I'll go with it being the same as the Magic Weekend kit but without the jigsaw pieces. Red arms on the kit you see. Or maybe the 2014 home shirt.

Look to the left of the Saints badge on 11 seconds. Back of the kit is there. You can see a dark bit move initially, which looks like smoke, but is someone's head. Then you see the Hattons logo come through the smoke, then the red shoulders and sleeves of the home kit.

You've got better eyes than me. I just hope the training gear is half decent.

Has anyone heard if O'Neills are still doing the kit next year? No announcement is odd isn't it given their contract was up? Any chance we've followed Cas' example and are doing our own kits?

It's also very unusual for it to be this late in the day before the announcement without anyone telling everyone what colour the away kit is?

At a guess I’m going to say the kit is made by O’Neills. Bit strange we haven’t announced a new deal but after seeing the photos of the new coach wearing the grand final tracksuit top on his arrival at the ground I’d say the club have gone again with O’Neills
