Default No easy start for Justin

Looks like there will be some similarities for Justin to face when he goes home...

That sponsor will regret their actions, there has been a huge outcry at their pathetic excuse to leave an agreement.

James made an error, these guys aren't actors or politicians and the criticism is very harsh

Totally agree, think the sponsors have shot themselves in the foot with that decision
"The great fallacy is that the game is first and last about winning. It is nothing of the kind. The game is about glory, it is about doing things in style and with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom." Danny Blanchflower.
Might have been written by a footballer about football - but never a truer word............

Couldn’t agree more. A rugby player bravely stood in front of 80,000 and forgot one line, even the crowd cheered their support. As you say he’s not a paid professional speaker

That’s low. I think I remember remarking in the NRL Grand Final thread that the gaffe was amusing but that it seemed to have been taken in a good spirit by all.

I suspect that the Gold Coast sponsors just regret associating themselves with a struggling club and have seen this as an opportunity to weasel out.

I hope that sponsor does suffer some repercussions. Look how many takes it sometimes takes professional actors to get their lines right, and then they hang a rugby player out over this.

Really •••• weak from the sponsors and clearly an excuse to pull out, I can see that stunt costing them either way financially.

I suppose it's as good a reason as any for JH to install an early siege mentality in his new team.

TFH have backflipped on their decision to withdraw sponsorship with Titans and have actually signed a new, improved deal with the club.
Additionally, the CEO came out and admitted he made a kneejerk reaction and has apologised personally to Ryan James.
Is a dream a lie if it don't come true, or is it something worse?

I wonder why they did that? His actions were on par with Gerald Ratner
