    Nice to hear this great song bellowing out through the PA at OT. Also, it was the same version that they played at KR for donkey's years but does anybody know who the artist is?

    I’m not sure whose arrangement it is but they’ve been playing it again at the TW for a while now.

    It's a recording of The St Helens Concert Band recorded in the late seventies.

    That version is nothing like the one i remember being played at Knowsley rd back in the 1970's. Back then it was the big band version, all brass band, and thats the version i heard on saturday. Easily the best version and it seems like McManus arranged to have that played at Old Trafford last saturday in the eventuality we won.
