Said in his post match interview that his injury early in the 2nd half was a dislocated shoulder that wouldn’t go back in. Played on, still charged in with ball in hand. Absolute unit.

Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.
Respect to him, absolutel legend. Not surprised Charnley sings his song about him!!
He ruined a nice bit of symmetry with that drop goal.
If the score had stayed 22-6, we'd have won by the same 16 points we won the league by.
Don't know if I can ever forgive him.
Think he was ••••ed off he hadn’t had a pass all game so he decided sod it I’ll drop a goal to show them.
Mind you I don’t think any of the wingers in the game got a pass.
Immense tonight and this season as a whole really

Les Jones/Tommy Makinson two spot on right wingers I am lucky to have seen them both
'Dislocated shoulder could not put back'. I hope we do not
regret not taking him off .
Fair play to Tommy, he has had another fantastic season and that cheeky drop goal was beautiful!
If that's right regarding his shoulder "popping out" , and to play on and the lad didn't hide , and complete tackles , that's one tough cookie .
roy litherland it's happened i told you it would
Hard lad who can do that it's so painful
He’s been ruled out of the GB tour.
Rest up Tommy!
Hopefully Reagan gets a call up.
The fact he drove that ball in just as hard, went up for kicks after short kick-offs was amazing
I thought he said "wouldn't go back" to be fair, although I'm happy to be corrected
And having been unfortunate enough to dislocate my right shoulder 3 times, I'm fairly certain by his manner of celebrating the drop goal and at the interview with Brooks, it was back in by then. When I did mine I'm not ashamed to admit I had tears in my eyes, it is absolutely excruciating and I was certainly in no mind to run or jump about.
In this delirium of being champions etc, thought I’d watch the highlights of our last grand final win again. The tackle on Farrell and the match winning try i’d almost forgotten about. Tommy is surely approaching saints legend status. What a player and what a man!
Dave , Tommy would probably have refused to come off .
