Paulo & Smith to miss out for me.
Paulo brings nothing to the team and I think Bentley just brings a bit more versatility than Smith in case we have to cover for an injury during the match.

That would be my choice, unless there is any doubt about Roby.

Paulo missing out is a no brainer for me. The last spot is a tougher decision. Bentley is versatile and could be handy if we pick up any knocks, but Smith has had some good moments coming on for Roby this season. I think i’d go with Bentley. Roby will likely play 80 minutes on Saturday.

EDIT: pretty much what Toppy said above.

Agreed, Smith gets in the 17 if Roby isnt fully fit, otherwise Bentley gets in.

Would much prefer Smith he's a proper hooker with the quicker distribution Bentley better defender but we still have that option of Knowles at 9 if things go wrong. I reckon the 17 who played against the Goons deserve their chance to be in this final.

Tough choice. Smith mixes our game up a little if we need it and Bentley gives the versatility, he can even fill in at centre if a back gets injured (I remember the disaster of Shenton getting injured) For me he probably just gets the nod for that and his defence which will also be a priority

No brainier for me. Bentley for Smith. I assume Roby is fine now. Smith who I like is just a hooker..Bentley offers more options (inc hooker) should we get an injury, sin bin etc. If Paulo is playing I will walk out before we kick off.

If there are any doubts over Roby's capacity to get through the game then I think I'd go for Smith. Otherwise Bentley gets the nod for me. The most versatile option and also, I think, the most dependable.

From a fans perspective it seems it is split between Bentley and Smith who gets the last place. Hard to split the two of them as they bring different things, and whichever gets the nod I don't think we can complain. For me, the crucial one is who is the other player to drop out. Up to now no one is wanting Paulo in, I hope JH feels the same.

OK...I'll go against the grain here. I think Paulo is an organiser and does offer an 'older head' settling effect in the middle, so would get my vote over the younger two.
It's a shame, because I like both Smith and Bentley.

I'd go with what was posted earlier, if Roby is fully fit put Bentley in.

If he's any niggles I'd go with Smith on the bench.

Holbrook went with Smith last week didn't he? I think he'll pick the same 17 myself, JP hasn't played for a few weeks now, can't see him getting a game myself.

No arguments with the first line up suggested.

Same here, for Roby to go off he's either have 2 broken legs or us be well in front. Bentley would be my shout either way to be honest.
