Having watched the re-run twice. How thick is McDermott? He rambles on and on about complete nonsense. Keep Wells and Jemma and totally ditch the rest they are awful as a collective and despise the Saints club. They grudgingly give us praise through gritted teeth.
Gemma Brookes very professional adds quality and class to proceedings.
Mark Wilson has flown under the radar. Great addition to the team. think he should replace Arthur.
She was excellent in the post game interviews. Rather than ask the usual robotic questions she seemed to be able to connect with the interviewee and draw in the emotion of the crowd
It would seem I'm in the minority here, but I think she's average, it's the low standard of the others that make her look half decent.
Some of her questions were of the terrible "you've just scored the last second winning goal in a World Cup Final, how do you feel?" bracket (apologies for the football analogy.)
I think we really miss Eddie (and Stevo)
I know when they were there people said they were past it but Bill Arthur hits it home how good Eddie actually was.....
Can't stop the spirits when they need you.
This life is more than just a read through.
To be fair, she was interviewing on the pitch, with it all being broadcast loudly to fans in the stadium, and getting the jubilant responses the crowd wanted to hear, at least for the Saints fans.
When Hastings was talking, I admit I was just focusing on the celebrating Saints players and singing/clapping.
