An apology after checking with the video ref for a scrum... where’s our apology ha!( I’m still bitter)
As I've said on a number of occasions the prat loves waving his arms around like a budgie , with his other favourite getting in the scrum and talking to the players , I'm sure he records his self then shoots off home ASAP , sits in front of his TV with his bottle of lemo and a packet of crisps , sees his self on the box and shouts out " oh here's me again" to the annoyance of his neighbour's.
roy litherland it's happened i told you it would
Watching this Wire v Cas game, RFL is getting funded by Wire !! What has happened to getting off at the play the ball!!
At last a video ref with the balls to give what he sees
Castleford penalised twice for not regaining their feet when playing the ball. I've since counted three occasions that Warrington have done the same and gone unpunished.

All I want is what is consistent with what the RFL rammed down our throats, years since, which was, I think? Too speed up at the play of the ball? Also, as pointed out about the drag over line, when already tackled?
Ganson, as well as the current lot at the RFL, need to own these breaches of their own rules/standards, it stinks at times.
Not looking good for Austin, I wish him well.
Justice served, well done Cas.
To be tackled your ball carrying arm has to hit the floor or the ref shout held, if neither of those things have happened your not tackled
At the start of SL the game was very much slower. They wanted to sped it up, now, even when the perception is that it isn't as fast, the game has far more tackle in it, a sign that the game is faster than pre SL
But much has changed since back then, the tactic of dropping to the floor when touched, the wrestle and trying to dive at the PTB to con the ref and fans so you get a penalty is now engrained in play. So it becomes a different challenge to officiate
The referee is supposed to call held as soon as more than one player is dragging the ball carrier towards the touch line/ingoal.
I like the way the play of the ball was policed in the Wire Vs Cas game. I am sick of players falling over and getting penalies.
They just need to keep that up now.
I could agree with you but then we would both be wrong.
I've no complaints about officials...they are fair and only make human error very rarely.
I've no complaints about the decisions against Wire last night. There was enough time in the game to be smart and progress.
It didn't happen and nothing but full credit to Cas for me. There are no excuses. Even Powell smiled.
I see Hicks is back to his old tricks of missing ball steals & generally being a grade A prick.
To be fair he's improved as the half went on. He still looks like the yorkshire version of Tin Tin.
Has OLoughlin played the ball on the mark yet?
