Agreed. While he was competitive against Leeds I thought overall he had quite a poor performance owing to handling errors. I think he’ll be a good player for us but this has come a little soon for him.

    That is a good thing.

True. Looks scruffy though. I believe that you should be dressed immaculately for such an occasion. Might just be me but it's a fairly big deal this cup final

    Pmsl

A few years ago I was waiting for a bus in Monsall Manchester (rough council estate... think Shameless) and popped in a shop for a soft drink and was accosted by a lady who was fully kitted out in pyjama’s and Slippers.

She asked me if I’d like to accompany her home, and assure me of a full service if I would buy her 20 fags......

I wish I could say that I said something funny but I just stuttered “I’ve not got any money” and walked as quickly as I could out of the door!

Never been so happy to see a 184 bus in my life!

    As expected for us:
St Helens: Coote, Makinson, Naiqama, Percival, Grace, Fages, Lomax, Walmsley, Roby, Thompson, Taia, Peyroux, Knowles.
    Interchanges: Paulo, LMS, Amor, Ashworth.

Warrington: Ratchford, Lineham, Goodwin, King, Charnley, Currie, Patton, Hill, D Clark, Cooper, Murdoch-Masila, Hughes, J Clark.
    Interchanges: Akauola, Philbin, Davis, Mamo.

Interesting to see Currie starting in the halves with Austin out.

Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

Probably hoping that the likes of Walmsley and Knowles are not match fit and keep the ball in the forwards.

I am one of the last to criticise referees but that knowles try call is disgraceful.

We’ve had a couple of very rough calls but I’m afraid so far this is just more of the same from Saints where big knock out games are concerned. Blind panic, making it up on the fly in attack and ending our sets terribly. Warrington are winning the ruck as well. 40 minutes to turn this situation around but we will have burned a lot of gas in that first half.

When will we ever get a final that isn't affected by a referee? Missed a try and missed Wire knock on against Grace.
