Stiddy there's no doubt whatsoever that the players felt the pain and criticism directed at them .I never criticize any player , but I more than criticized the team , for which I apologized , the response from the whole team was there to see , but look what happened in every game after the attitude completely changed , they were far more aggressive and forceful than what I have seen in a long long time , as you say they have now learned how to win in tight games , the monkey is now off thier backs , and we may never see the word "bottlers" used again.
roy litherland it's happened i told you it would

I can just picture McManus & Rush standing with fixed smiles and saying, "It's not always like this, Kristian!" - with their fingers crossed behind their backs.

Was thinking that myself. Probably felt like getting on a plane straight back to Oz. I absolutely despise November with a passion. Dark at 3:30-4pm every day and just rains more or less every day.

At least it's redeemed itself a bit today, proof the sun shines briefly between the deluges.

Judging from the comments on Facebook Saints now have a lot of followers from Tonga. He clearly inspires loyalty in players and fans. Here’s hoping for a successful 2020.

I think he looks like a really nice bloke that'll fit in well. IIRC Justin seemed a little shellshocked the first few weeks and look how he turned out! I know he's not trained in the hail and snow yet but he looks tough enough to cope with a bit of weather. Getting really excited for the new season. The regard the Tongan players and supporters have for him speaks volumes.

Watching the club video got the impression the one area he wants us to improve on is our toughness over the whole game, sounds as though he wants a meaner defence similar to the Anderson coach appointment.

Appearances can be deceptive but he looks one tough mofo to me.

Percival & Naiqama mate. He's taking the Bennett approach of throwing forwards into the backs

Good idea, this is why I'm not a coach, who would've thought of playing forwards in the backs?
