No, the whole thing is turning into a bit of a shambles. The longer it drags on with this Wolff fella the more I'm not sure. Watson seems the best of a bad bunch at the moment and if we can't get him maybe take a punt on Tony Smith for a year or 2 (god I feel dirty saying that).

I have a feeling that it may be Ian Watson and Salford do play attractive, and in relative terms, successful rugby. He’s also more likely to stick around provided, of course, that we want him to.

The unrest at Tonga, however, suggests that Woolf has been offered the job. He could easily calm that situation down by saying he hasn’t. Now I’m confusing myself. Best leave it to Rush and McManus and hope they get it right.

Looks like Tonga NRL might have let the cat out of the bag...

"However, we wish him well. especially on his recent coaching appointment of the St Helens Rugby League team in the English Super League."

Just wondering when the "he's going home , he's coming home" chants will start . I welcome the lad but would have preffered someone on the shortlist to be perfectly honest , and the FINAL shortlist of 2 I believe which included a bloke 20 miles away , I can't say I'm not disappointed , but hey ho the club didn't do a bad job last time ,

In truth we will not know what he will do for Saints until hes up and running. Hes been appointed and we need to wait and see. If I was cynical I could say he fits well into Saints as reading his history hes been to a few finals and semis with various clubs (youth etc) but not won much.
But back to serious... Im not wasting energy speculating as it wont change anything. I will support him and just hope it works out.

I wonder what "hilarious" pun the Warrington media cranks will come up with.

Kristian, I wish you well in all your efforts to keep up the standards we have managed under Justin Holbrook, a tough act to follow.
    Welcome to the Saints.

Eloquently said by a fan from a club that’s not won a league championship for 64 years... and counting. Year of the ‘Wolfs’

Best of luck to him. Fingers crossed he gets some luck on the injury front next year.

Hey Simple Jack, If the 11th most successful team in Rugby League played better footie, a big club or someone from NRL might come for your coach.

I think you’re pretty safe though.

Thompson made more metres than Isa, clubb, Byrne, partington, o loughlin, Powell and flower combined
