What do Warrington have to do to be officiated like everyone else? On a thread some months ago I likened their tactics to Wigan of yore and they really have taken on that mantle. Lying on, head shots, physical (illegal) intimidation. These tactics shouldn't work because we've got rules to our game, but they do work (Wigan have been successful at it for years) because the officials are so poor/ biased/ incompetent/corrupt, delete to taste. The ref even told the Warrington skipper that the constant infringements were "breaking up the flow of the game", then did precisely nothing when he awarded another penalty to Salford! On a different tack, after Wire's huge exertions on Saturday when they were all collapsing with cramp every five minutes, with such a short turnaround, I didn't see one Wire player with cramp last night...……..odd that.
