Serious question : has Austin done anything so far that makes anyone concerned if he plays?
I don't recall him being very influencial against the better sides of super league.
He has shown some nice breaks against poorer sides who are already well beaten. But I don't remember him being a key player in a tight game.
If you look at the video from the captains run yesterday, Coote is on it. You can see him right at the end taking a drop out. Coral also did a video promoting the Final and he’s on that in training gear being interviewed. He’s clearly back in full training.

It was but if he is not fully recovered from the ankle injury then can’t see him being high percentage in his kicking game for the final. I don’t think his running game is anywhere near the first half of the season and Saints seem to know how to shut that down to make him less effective.
Fortunately Matty can,t play to introduce an alternative kicking game so I reckon there will be lots of pressure on Austin and Patton on those end of set plays.
"The great fallacy is that the game is first and last about winning. It is nothing of the kind. The game is about glory, it is about doing things in style and with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom." Danny Blanchflower.
Might have been written by a footballer about football - but never a truer word............
I wish Matty Smith all the best at Warrington. Just not at our expense haha
screaming in the family corner, scaring the kiddies
Well done matty. Great game
He was totally anonymous. Just as he was for Saints - nice guy though.
