I didn't say that either, but you invent a quote... and I'm the liar?

We were lucky that year, there was a special train from Shaw St station to Wembley.

I didn't prefix quote: and wasn't suggesting you are a liar, more suggesting you are living in an ambiguous cuckoo (duck) land than anything else.

You put a quote in double commas that I didn't say...and said stop making things up.

OK out of 43k hardly any at all was from Warrington.
Hope my maths is better...although I'm pretty sure that's English.
BTW, there wasn't an end...in the end.
We were all around the bottom level. All the God's behind the initial Wire end, we're 'up-graded' to lower level in the opposite end.
IMO it's not correct...But read again what you said in your first post.
I stand by what I said. I would estimate 25-30K supporting Wire, with the bulk of them clearly in what I would consider to be the end allocated to Warrington.
The top tier was closed, with people being 'upgraded' to lower teir, but that doesn't suddenly result in more Wire fans!
I'm not knocking Wire BTW. They brought a reasonable number...But nothing like the figure that you stated. Remember, there's were only 50,672 according to Wiki.

some of the wire side is now starting to show as sold out. I do worry about that top tier southstand looking empty

Are you worried because of TV? the main camera is situated in the south stand, just ahead of the Club Wembley seats - so it wont be noticeable on most of the angles

Pretty much. It never looks great when there are empty seats but let's hope we can make the biggest crown at a CC final in the last 5-10 years. Out of interest what is the biggest CC final crowd at the new Wembley? Would it be the 1st ever one?

Yep, vast majority of the Saints end is showing as sold out. I assume that includes tickets that have gone to the club

Would be good if they can get to a position where they have to open some of the extra blocks. It looks like they're holding back the top three or four rows all the way along the top tier as well which seems sensible. There are some tickets still available in the 'sold out' sections too but all-in-all it's decent going for the first few days. You'd like to think the clubs and the RFL would be able to shift quite a few more over the next three weeks

There is also the fact that a lot of Saints fans had already bought their Final tickets weeks ago (I know I had) due to the opposition in the semi - there will be more of us than them - last year they were being given Groupon tickets - I think a lot of them are waiting for the same to appear this year

For a statman - that is a disappointing question
    2010 Warrington Leeds 85,217

That's also the largest attendance since 1988

Plausible reasons for Wire slower sale rate.
The end Wire have has a deeper seating plan behind the sticks.
Wire tickets from the stadium only went on general sale yesterday.
Upto 1.5k of fans heading to Catalan
Wire understand to ticketing system and the excitement of trying to get seats is passed us, I can except Saints fan will be eager because it is an exciting period for you.

A combination of all these will give us a slow start...but like you guys well be there in numbers and its likely to be a big crowd.

We've not been for ages, our fans are bound to have more appetite for it. Wire have been there 5 times since we last visited Wembley
