    Default Room for improvement

Going off a fully fit Saints 17, where would you say each person has areas to work on or improve?

Fages/Richardson whoever plays. The time will come where we need to play with composure and be organised, with a precise short and long kicking game

That young prospect we have, James Roby, needs to work on his fitness and consistency.

It's been discussed a lot before but I would like to see Percival develop his play as a centre.

He is a good strong runner but it's all off the cuff .

I've not checked the stats but Grace seemed to score a few tries when Percival was out injured.

Not knocking him as a player but maybe its something he and Grace need to work on

Have seen fages play in high pressure situations? been one of the top performers in the bigger games. His kicking game is fantastic but we don't see much of this due to most of the kicking duties being with Coote. Agree with Richardson as he's not even in the picture with a fully fit side.

Agree with this. Scope for a bit more Newlove / Sullivan in tandem.

Percival and Grace both good players and playing well , but look like stangers to each other at times.

The crabbing accross the field thing is also over played IMO.
All gets a bit Bobby Goulding without the support runners.

Was expecting Ashworth to rip it up this season.
Again played well but not made you get out of your seat often if that makes sense.

There are not many players who are playing below par but of the more experienced ones perhaps Percival by way of being more of a wingers centre, Ashworth for me has stalled in his development and needs to show a lot more aggression to use his size and speed similar to Thommo. Smith is a bit of a worry in his defensive technique and distribution, he seems to have a head knock every week. Perhaps Paulo needs to step up a notch, he has a steady influence but we need a bit more in positive play.

Well there is always room for improvement, Makinson and Grace are too slow for SL wingers, Coote is too heavy he needs to lay off the pies and lose 25 kilos. Taia`s hair is a disgrace his strength has gone almost Samsonesque since his locks got trimmed, Fages scull cap is the wrong shape (it may be his head) and Johnny`s is the wrong colour. Bin off Wlamsley and Tommo, why does our coach still play Knowles?
Speaking of the coach his breath is rotten, during interviews it comes through the screen at you, rumour has it that was why Angela Power handed her notice in, speaking of rumours, Russell Crowe has offered Barry McDermott Oliver Reed`s role in Gladiator 2 if he gets a facelift so he can look like an aged Ollie rather than his grandad.
    Nice weather innit?

I know there is a narrative that Saints fans always moan and pick holes.

We are all having a ball as Saints fans and have kicked on from last season.

The observations above are measured balanced and not sneering.

Last year people were moaners for going on about right side attack.

(This turned out to be one of the biggest areas worked on in the off season by the club).
